A Case FIR No 70 U/S 304(2), added 317(2) BNS has been registered in Police Station 31 Chandigarh on the complaint of a lady resident of Hallo Majra Chandigarh who alleged that unknown pedestrian person ran away after snatched complainant mobile near Masjid Ram Darbar, Chandigarh on 03- 11-2024. Later on, one juvenile age-16 years has been arrested and sent to juvenile home. Investigation of the case is in progress.
One arrested in assault case
A Case FIR No. 223 U/S 115(2),117(2),118(1),126(2),351(2),351(5), 3/5 BNS has been registered in Police Station, Sector-31 Chandigarh on the complaint of Harnek Singh R/o # 446, Ravidas Mandir Hallo Majra against Deepu and others R/o not known they attacked on complainant and beaten him with rods and sticks backside Govt. School, Hallo Majra, Chandigarh on 02-11-2024. Victim sustained injuries and got admitted to GMCH-32. Later on accused person Deepak @ Deepu R/o # 683 Hallo Majra, Chd. age 22 years arrested. Investigation of this case is in progress.
Trespass after preparation for hurt assault
A Case FIR No. 90 U/S 333, 140(1), 351(3), 115(2), 61(2) & 25-54-59 BNS has been registered in Police Station, Sector-49 Chandigarh on the complaint of Joginder Singh R/o # 832 Ward No. 1, Bharat Transport Mansa Distt. Mansa (Pb) age 26 years who alleged that Kulwinder Singh, Raman Varhing, Kulwinder Varhing, Channi, Mandeep Singh and two other persons they bitten to complainant near flat Kendriya Vihar Society Sec-48, Chandigarh and forcibly put him in their car No. PB-03AN-8287 and second Cruze Car No. UP-65BA-0099. They removed the gold kada from his hand and threw him on Sec-85 Mohali on 02- 11-2024. Investigation of this case is in progress.

In a breakthrough Police Station Sector-31, Chandigarh achieved a success by apprehending and recovery of snatched mobile from the possession of a juvenile namely ‘A’ and solved recently registered snatching case FIR No. 225 dated 03.11.2024 U/S 304(2) BNS added 317(2) BNS 2023, PS-31, Chandigarh. As per directions of Ms. Kanwardeep Kaur, IPS, W/SSP/UT, Chandigarh, under the close guidance of Sh. Mridul, W/SP/City Chandigarh and under the supervision of Sh. Jaswinder Singh, SDPO/South, a team of officials of Police Station Sector-31, Chandigarh headed by INSP/SHO Rajiv Kumar was constituted to work out this case.
Brief Facts:-
Present case was registered on the complaint of Smt. Rekha W/o Sh. Lakhi Mehto R/o # 692 Village Hallomajra Chandigarh Age-19 yrs, in which she stated that she was working at beauty parlour in sector 48 Chandigarh. On dated 03.11.2024, when she was going to bus stand ramdarbar from mandi ground ramdarbar and when she reached near masjid ramdarbar in the meantime unknown boy came and snatched her mobile Make Vivo 20 colour blue from her hand and sped away from the spot.

It is submitted that on 04.11.2024, on a secret information, the team of DCC, Sector-24 Chandigarh apprehended one person namely Braham Dutt Mishra @ Lucky S/o Sh. Surinder Nath Mishra R/o H.No. 761/1, Industrial Area Phase-I Chandigarh, Age-27 years from backside ISBT Sector-43 Chandigarh and recovered one country made Pistol alongwith two live cartridges from his possession.
Modus Operandi: - Threatening and extortion by keeping/using deadly weapons.

Brief fact of case:-
Present case was registered on the complaint of Joginder Singh S/o Balwant Singh R/o H. No. 832, Ward No. 1, Bharat Transport Mansa, Distt. Mansa (PB) Age 26Years, in which he stated that on 02.11.2024 he had come to meet his friend Niyus R/o Flat Kendriya Vihar Society, Sector 48, Chandigarh. After dinner, Neuse’s friend namely Dhruv Mittal joined them and they spend the night there. The next morning at around 07.00 AM, Kulwinder Singh, Raman Varhing, Kulwinder Varhing, Channi, Mandeep Singh and two unknown persons forcibly entered in said flat and brutally assaulted him, in the meantime Kulwinder Singh & Kulwinder Varhing pointed a pistol at him. Thereafter, all these guys forcibly put him in their car (PB03AN 8287 and Cruze UP65BA0099) and took him towards Sector 85 Road Mohali, where they threw him out from the car. They snatched his gold bracelet and threatened to kill him if he reported the incident. This attack seems to related to an old rivalry. He fears for his safety as they may attack again. He can identify two unknown persons upon seeing.
