*CUH Team Secures First Position at North India Research Convention

MAHENDERGARH, 05.12.24-Central University of Haryana (CUH), Mahendragarh team has secured the first position at the two-day North India Research Convention organized by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) in collaboration with Galgotias University. The CUH team comprised students from the B.Voc. Industrial Waste Management and B.Voc. Biomedical Sciences programs.
Prof. Tankeshwar Kumar, Vice-Chancellor congratulating the winning team and said that this achievement would undoubtedly inspire students to develop innovative technologies and breakthroughs in the field of waste management. Prof. Pawan Kumar Maurya, Dean, School of Lifelong Learning, praised the efforts of the department’s students and highlighted their commendable work in research. He also extended his congratulations to team mentors Dr. Richa and Dr. Sunil Kumar, encouraging them to continue advancing in this domain.
CUH team comprising Dr. Sunil Kumar, Manasvi, and Gungun presented innovative waste management technologies through their research, securing the first position. The convention, hosted by Galgotias University in Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh, saw participation from various universities across North India. The competition included a poster presentation round followed by a research presentation, culminating in a final evaluation by experts.

Online Application Process for Ph.D. Programs at CUH Begins
MAHENDERGARH, 05.12.24-The online application process for admission to Ph.D. programs at the Central University of Haryana (CUH), Mahendragarh, for the academic session 2024-25 has commenced from December 5, 2024. Candidates can apply online for admission to Ph.D. programs offered by various departments of the University until December 23, 2024. While inaugurating the admission portal, Vice-Chancellor Prof. Tankeshwar Kumar emphasized the University's commitment to fostering education, research, innovation, and skill development in alignment with the New National Education Policy. He highlighted the importance of researchers in the progress of any university and expressed confidence that this admission process would attract dedicated and competent scholars.
Prof. Suneel Kumar, Registrar expressed his joy at the launch of the admission process. Prof. Phool Singh provided details, mentioning that the online application process will continue until December 23, 2024, for 200 Ph.D. seats available across 31 departments. A list of candidates exempted from the entrance test will be released on December 28, 2024. Central University of Haryana shall conduct the Entrance examination for six specific Ph.D. programs namely Hotel Management, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Printing and Packaging Technology, Computer Science and Engineering, and Pharmaceutical Sciences and admit cards for the entrance test will be issued on December 30, 2024. The entrance examination is scheduled for January 12, 2025. Applicants eligible under GATE/GPAT criteria will be exempted from the entrance test.
Interviews for Ph.D. admissions will begin on January 13, 2025, and if seats remain vacant, a second list will be published on January 20, 2025. Dr. Amit Kumar, Assistant Registrar of Academic and Counselling Branch, shared that candidates can apply for Ph.D. programs through University website or Samarth Portal link https://cuhadm.samarth.edu.in/. On this occasion heads of various departments, faculty members, and officials of the University participated virtually.
