MAHENDERGARH, 10.12.24-The School of Business and Management Studies at the Central University of Haryana has launched a five-day international workshop on research writing and publishing through an online platform. The workshop, aims improving the quality of research and enhancing academic publishing skills, has attracted participants from across the globe.
In his inaugural address, Prof. Tankeshwar Kumar, Vice Chancellor emphasized on the urgent need for such workshops to elevate the standard of research. He appreciated the School of Management Studies for taking the initiative to organize this event and also highlighting that the topics covered would be of immense value to participants, especially in the domain of experimental research.
Prof. Ranjan Aneja, Dean, School of Business and Management Studies and Workshop Director said that this is the third edition of the workshop, with the first two editions held in 2022 and 2023. He shared that the event has received overwhelming support, with hundreds of participants from nine countries across different continents registering for the workshop.
Dr. Ajay Kumar, the workshop convener, introduced the distinguished lineup of speakers, stating that there are nine eminent scholars who are also editors-in-chief of top-tier academic journals worldwide. The workshop kicked off with insightful lectures from renowned experts Prof. Vito Tassiello, Liverpool John Moores University, UK , and eight other eminent speakers including Prof. Amitava Chattopadhyay, Associate Editor, Journal of Marketing, INSEAD, France; Prof. Dipayan Biswas, Editor-in-Chief, Journal of Business Research, University of South Florida, USA; Prof. Jacob Goldenberg, Co-Editor, Journal of Consumer Research, Arison School of Business, Israel; Prof. Kapil Tuli, Co-Editor, Journal of Marketing Research, Singapore Management University, Singapore; Prof. Rajesh Bagchi, Co-Editor, Journal of Consumer Psychology, Pamplin College of Business, Virginia Tech, USA; Prof. Sara Kim, Associate Editor, International Journal of Research in Marketing, HKU Business School, University of Hong Kong; Prof. Tony Kong, Associate Editor, Journal of Management, University of Colorado, Boulder, USA; Prof. Zachary Estes, Associate Editor, Journal of Consumer Psychology, Bays Business School, University of London will be speaking on various dimensions of experimental research over the coming days. Dr. Bhushan and Mr. Vikash Organizing Secretary of the workshop, were also present at the inauguration, offering their support to the event.
