*CM chairs District Public Relations and Grievances Committee meeting in Gurugram, directs officers to ensure cleanliness parameters are met*

Chandigarh, December 12 – Haryana Chief Minister, Sh. Nayab Singh Saini while chairing the District Public Relations and Grievances Committee meeting in Gurugram on Thursday issued strict directions to the officers concerned to ensure cleanliness in the district. He said that special attention should be given to cleanliness in the city to make Gurugram clean and beautiful. He said that during the next month's meeting, he would personally see the steps taken by the officers concerned to ensure cleanliness in Gurugram. Ensure that the general public should not face any problem due to unclean surroundings, said Sh. Nayab Singh Saini.
Union Minister of State, Rao Inderjit Singh, Cabinet Minister, Rao Narbir Singh, MLAs, Smt. Bimla Chaudhary, Sh. Mukesh Sharma, Sh. Tejpal Tanwar remained present in the meeting.
The Chief Minister said that ensuring hasslefree delivery of public services is the utmost priority of the state government, therefore the officers of all departments must visit the field to ensure that the services are provided to the public without any delay, no laxity will be tolerated. Strict action will be taken against any officer if complaints are received from the citizens, said Sh. Nayab Singh Saini.
During the meeting, a total of 23 grievances were tabled before the Chief Minister, of which 19 were resolved on the spot. The Chief Minister directed the officers to submit the status report of the remaining complaints tabled in the meeting.
The Chief Minister while taking cognizance of the issue related to the treated water quality from all Sewage Treatment Plants (STPs) directed that the quality of treated water be regularly checked for a clean environment. He further directed that officers ensure that after lab tests, the water should only be provided to farmers for agricultural work.
*Officers should act seriously on grievances*
Meanwhile, taking strict cognizance of a complaint regarding illegal encroachment on government land in village Sarai Alawardi, the Chief Minister directed the municipal corporation officers to immediately remove all illegal encroachments from the land. A community hall should be constructed on this land to provide better facilities for public events, he directed.
On the issue related to installation of illegal advertising materials in the Laser Valley area, the Chief Minister directed that all problems related to public lights, CCTV cameras, and musical fountains in the area should be resolved at the earliest. He also directed the Commissioner, Municipal Corporation to prepare a new policy for placing advertisement hoardings at unipoles and bus stops in the city to avoid revenue losses for the corporation. Bids for advertising sites should be invited, directed the Chief Minister.
While hearing a case related to 100 square-yard plots in village Jatola, the Chief Minister said that all officers should ensure that eligible beneficiaries get benefit of all government schemes. Similarly while hearing the issue of blocking of the path leading to the temple in the village Silokhera, he directed the officers concerned to conduct an inquiry and transfer the Station house Officer for showing negligence in the issue.
Issuing directions regarding incomplete work of constructing a chaupal in New Gwal Pahari, the Chief Minister directed the officers concerned that the said work should be completed, a booster should be installed for water supply in village Sikanderpur Ghosi, and electricity supply should be ensured in village Pathredi.
*Directions issued for laying and maintenance of Sewerage Lines as per Growing Population in Gurugram*
While hearing complaints regarding sewerage issues from different areas, the Chief Minister directed the concerned officers to ensure sewerage systems are strengthened according to the growing population's demands to ensure proper water drainage. Revised plans should be prepared when laying new sewer lines in any area, and consultations should be held with the respective RWAs and local residents, directed Sh. Nayab Singh Saini.

Chandigarh, December 12 – Haryana Chief Minister, Sh. Nayab Singh Saini while attending the closing ceremony of the Haryana Kushti Dangal in Kurukshetra on Thursday said that State's athletes have brought laurels on the global sports stage.
He said that while taking yet another step towards ensuring welfare of the players of the state, the government has resolved to provide a medical insurance cover of Rs. 20 lakh to every athlete. Besides this, annual incentives of Rs. 50 lakh, Rs. 30 lakh, and Rs. 20 lakh will also be awarded to the top three Akharas at the state level, and Rs. 15 lakh, Rs. 10 lakh, and Rs. 5 lakh will be awarded to the top three Akharas at the district level.
Earlier, the Chief Minister felicitated the winners of the Dangal and extended best wishes. He said that over 500 wrestlers participated at district and regional levels in the two-day event, with 16 of the 32 finalists being female wrestlers, marking a proud moment for the state.
Sh. Nayab Singh Saini said that Haryana is a land of sports. Despite its small size in terms of population and area, Haryana's achievements in sports are remarkable.
*Major Changes in the Sports Sector Under Prime Minister’s Leadership*
The Chief Minister said that since 2014, under the leadership of Prime Minister, Sh. Narendra Modi, the sports sector has undergone significant transformations at the national level. Enhanced sports infrastructure, transparent selection processes and effective financial assistance and training schemes have been implemented at the national level, he said.
Sh. Nayab Singh Saini further said that inspired by this, the double-engine government in Haryana has introduced a new sports policy and devised a roadmap to identify talent from the grassroots level and groom them for the Olympics. This has resulted in the development of modern sports infrastructure and a thriving sports culture in the state, providing substantial motivation to athletes, he said. Besides the Olympics, Haryana's youth have excelled in the Asian Games, Commonwealth Games, and other international competitions, said the Chief Minister.
*Ensuring Employment for Athletes*
The Chief Minister shared that the government has ensured employment for outstanding athletes through the Haryana Outstanding Sportspersons Service Rules 2021. Under this, 550 new posts have been created in the sports department, and 224 athletes have been provided government jobs. Provision of reservation for direct recruitment of athletes in Group-A to Group-D posts have also been made, he said.
The Chief Minister said that Haryana is the first state in India to offer the highest cash rewards to medal-winning athletes, disbursing Rs. 593 crore in cash rewards so far. Furthermore, 298 athletes who have demonstrated exceptional performances are receiving honorariums. He said that scholarships are also being provided to students participating in and winning medals at state, national, and international sports competitions. Since 2014, more than 29,000 students have received scholarships worth Rs. 53.45 crore.
*Sports Infrastructure in the State being further Strengthened*
The Chief Minister said that dedicated efforts are being made for the creation of robust sports infrastructure in Haryana to ensure athletes have access to modern facilities. The government has opened sports nurseries, offering financial aid and advanced training to athletes. Presently, 1,489 sports nurseries are operational in the state.

Speaking on the occasion, Minister of State for Sports, Sh. Gaurav Gautam said that because of their sports talent, the state players are making Haryana proud in the country and the world. It is a matter of pride that our daughters are shining bright in the sports, he said.
The Minister said that Haryana, which represents 2 percent of the country's population, has today become a powerhouse of sports. He said that due to Haryana's sports policy under the leadership of Chief Minister, Sh. Nayab Singh Saini, players have won many national and international medals.
He said that in the 10 years before 2014, an amount of Rs 48 crore has been allocated for the sports sector in the state, whereas the present state government has spent Rs 550 crore for players and providing sports facilities.

Chandigarh, December 12 – A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed today between Powergrid and the Gurugram District Administration in the presence of Haryana Chief Minister Sh Nayab Singh Saini. This MoU aims to undertake development works worth over Rs. 20 crore at Government Girls College, Sector 14, Gurugram, under Powergrid’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative.
The MoU was signed by Deputy Commissioner Ajay Kumar on behalf of the Gurugram District Administration and General Manager Ashok Kumar Mishra on behalf of Powergrid.
Speaking on the occasion, Chief Minister Sh Nayab Singh Saini said that the infrastructure development of Haryana's educational institutions is being expedited as part of the significant journey to make India a developed nation by 2047. He noted the crucial role corporate companies are playing in this effort through the CSR scheme. Highlighting the importance of education in building a developed nation, he said that initiatives like Beti Bachao Beti Padhao have been effectively implemented by the state government, yielding the expected outcomes. The Chief Minister praised the collaboration between corporate institutions and the Haryana government in promoting social upliftment, describing it as a commendable step. He also urged the concerned institutions to expedite the completion of construction projects.
Yatindra Dwivedi, representing Powergrid, stated that the initiative is aimed at providing enhanced educational facilities for girls in and around Gurugram, furthering the cause of women’s empowerment. This women centric CSR effort will enable girls to pursue higher education and professional careers, creating long-term benefits for the community.

Many steps have been taken by the centre and the state government to increase the income of farmers. He called upon the farmers to refrain themselves from agitations and contribute to the development of the state. Some people want to spoil the atmosphere of the state. Farmers should be careful of such people, said Dr. Arvind Sharma while addressing the gathering after formally inaugurating the 35th sugarcane crushing season of Cooperative Sugar Mill, Meham in Rohtak on Thursday.
The Cooperation Minister said that to overcome the problem of shortage of labourers for sugarcane farmers, the government will provide about 4-4 small sugarcane harvesters to each mill. He said that the government will not let the farmers face any kind of problem, assured the Minister.
Dr. Arvind Sharma said that under the leadership of Chief Minister, Sh. Nayab Singh Saini, the state government is purchasing all crops at the Minimum Support Price. He said that the central and state governments are working for the welfare of farmers, women and the poor.

*Transport Minister Anil Vij supports 'One Nation, One Election' Decision *
Chandigarh, December 12 – Haryana Transport Minister, Sh. Anil Vij expressed his support for the "One Nation, One Election" decision while interacting with journalists at his office in Chandigarh today.
He said that this is a commendable step taken by Prime Minister, Sh. Narendra Modi as a nationalist vision.
Sh. Vij further said that this decision should have been implemented right after independence, but previous governments ignored it. Now, under Sh. Narendra Modi’s leadership, a move in the country’s interest has been initiated.
Sh. Vij stated that frequent elections in India, like the recent Lok Sabha and Haryana and Maharashtra Assembly elections, and now the upcoming Delhi elections, disrupt development work due to the enforcement of the Model Code of Conduct. He said this decision would ensure that developmental projects can continue without interruptions.
Prime Minister, Sh. Narendra Modi aims to make India a developed nation, and every Indian citizen should welcome and support this initiative. He criticized opposition parties for opposing the decision, stating that their objections show their hunger for power and ignorance about development of the Country, added Sh. Vij.
Speaking on the no-confidence motion, Sh. Vij said that such a motion had never been brought against a Vice -President before by any party. He said that opposition parties are using it to divert attention from the George Soros issue and disrupt the proceedings of the Rajya Sabha and Lok Sabha, trying to hinder the nation’s development.

₹52.54 cr subsidy disbursed so far in Haryana under PM Surya Ghar: Muft Bijli Yojana
Haryana identifies 3,011 buildings for potential solar power generation capacity of 91.78 MW
Chandigarh, December 12- Haryana Chief Secretary Dr. Vivek Joshi today presided over the State-Level Coordination Committee meeting to review the PM Surya Ghar: Muft Bijli Yojana.
During the meeting, it was informed that as of now, 9,609 rooftop solar systems of a combined capacity of 45.90 MW have been installed across the state. The government has disbursed ₹52.54 crore in subsidies to beneficiaries so far, further encouraging solar adoption. Looking ahead, the state is focusing on equipping government buildings with solar power plants, with the Public Works Department (PWD) developing a centralized portal to streamline data management of government properties. Site surveys for 3,011 buildings have been completed, identifying a potential solar power generation capacity of 91.78 MW so far. The Department of New and Renewable Energy (NRE) has invited bids for an 8.4 MW grid-connected rooftop solar project under the CAPEX model. The government will also develop Model Solar Village in each district under the guidelines of Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE), which will showcase the transformative potential of solar power in rural areas. The scheme aims to promote technologies like solar-based home lighting system in all households, solar based water system in the villages, solar pumps for agricultural purposes and installation of solar street lights.
The Chief Secretary underlined that banks will have a significant contribution in achieving the goals of this scheme. He directed officials to actively involve banks in this process for smooth facilitation of loans to beneficiaries. The Chief Secretary was informed that Haryana has already trained over 2,700 students in ITIs with an industry-oriented curriculum for the installation of solar equipment. Apart from this, the state has 100 ITI master trainers to further streamline the installation process at the ground level.
The PM Surya Ghar: Muft Bijli Yojana aims to provide free electricity to 1 crore households in India. Under this, Central Financial Assistance (CFA) is provided to domestic category electricity consumers. In addition to this, State Financial Assistance (SFA) is being provided by Haryana Government to Antyodaya families on first come first serve basis. The scheme aims to develop green and clean energy access in villages and empower village communities to become more self-reliant in meeting their energy needs, apart from saving money on electricity bills.
