Two arrested in attempt to murder case

A Case FIR No. 246 u/s 190, 191(2) 191(3), 115(2),118(1), 126(2), 351(2), 351(3), 109 BNS has been registered in Police Station Sector-31 Chandigarh on the complaint of a boy (age-17 years) R/o Chandigarh against Tusar, Sunny, and others they attack on complainant with sharp weapon and pelting stone near his house on 12.12.2024. Later on, two accused person Tushar R/o # 1319 Ph-1, Ram Darbar Chandigarh and one Juvenile were arrested and sent to juvenile home. Investigation of this case is in progress.

Snatching

A Case FIR No 105 U/S 304(2),3(5) BNS has been registered in Police Station Maloya Chandigarh on the complaint of Ranjit Kumar R/o # 235 Village Maloya, Chandigarh against two unknown pedestrian persons ran away after snatched complainant mobile phone near community center village – Maloya, Chandigarh on 10.12.2024. Investigation of this case is in progress.

Cheating

A Case FIR No 136 U/S 409,420,120B BNS has been registered in Police Station Manimajra Chandigarh on the complaint of Anuj Kumar R/o # 185 Gali No. 09, Shanti Nagar, Manimajra Chandigarh against Arun Kumar Prop. Travelowiz Office No.14, 4th Floor, Motias Royale Business Park, Motia City, Zirakpur Distt. Mohali (Pb) and his resident of Near Railway Station Dhurala, District Ambala, Haryana. The complainant alleged that the alleged person grabbing more than sum of Rs. 35,00,000/- of the him on the pretext of booking of air tickets of different clients for different destinations. Investigation of this case is in progress.

Accident

A Case FIR No 71 U/S 106, 281 BNS has been registered in Police Station IT Park Chandigarh on the complaint of V.S.T Malik R/o # 1588 Silver city green Zirakpur Punjab against unknown driver of wagnor car no HR-01AJ-9494 who sped away after hit to complainant son motor cycle no PB-70F-9633 from IT Park Chandigarh on 04.12.2024. Complainant son namely Raveesh Kunwar Malik admitted in PGI later on expired . Investigation of this case is in progress.

Criminal Conspiracy

A Case FIR No 198 U/S 140(2), 307, 351(2), 61(2) BNS has been registered in Police Station Sector 34 Chandigarh on the complaint of Rubeak Singh Maan R/o 3456 Sector 71, Mohali Punjab against unknown person who beaten, threatened and forcefully snatched Rs. 2200/-, one apple ultra watch, ATM and Aadhar Card. Later on, they dropped back to him in Sector 34, Chandigarh on 07.12.2024. Investigation of this case is in progress.

Public Advisory from Chandigarh Police for Music Concert Attendees

Chandigarh Police is committed to ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone attending the upcoming music concerts. Please take note of the following important guidelines and regulations:

  1. Entry Requirements

i. Only individuals with valid passes/tickets will be permitted entry. Anyone without an official band will be denied entry to the venue.

ii. Any unauthorized access to the concert area or forcible entry will be dealt with strictly under relevant provisions of law.

iii. Necessary action will also be taken against individuals having personal security deployment trying to gain unauthorized access to concert with help of personal security officers. Action will also be taken against the concerned police officials involved.

iv. Any trespassing is illegal and will result in immediate removal from the venue and legal action.

  1. For protectees

i. All protectees are hereby advised not to carry any personal security officer to the gates and inside the venue. No security officer/police officer shall be allowed inside the venue other than those detailed for duty on 14th December by Chandigarh Police.

ii. Additionally no armed escorts/security officers are allowed inside the venue. Hence, the protectees are advised to make necessary arrangements accordingly.

  1. Vehicle Parking

i. Ensure your vehicle is parked in the designated parking areas only as per traffic advisory issued by Chandigarh Police.

ii. Do not park in unauthorized spaces blocking traffic. Illegally parked vehicles will be towed at the owner’s expense.

iii. Follow all traffic and parking instructions provided by Chandigarh Police and organizers.

  1. No Public Smoking and Drinking

i. Smoking and drinking is prohibited in public areas. Smoking and drinking inside venue will result in action under relevant provisions of law or removal from the venue.

  1. Safety and Respect

i. Chandigarh Police will be present to ensure public safety. Fighting, vandalism, or other disruptive behavior will not be tolerated and will lead to detention and strict criminal action under relevant sections of law.

ii. Respect event staff, fellow concert-goers, and performers. Follow all instructions from security and law enforcement for a safe and enjoyable experience.

  1. Emergency and Security

i. Be aware of emergency exits and safety procedures in case of an emergency. In case of any security concerns or emergencies, immediately contact the nearest police officer or security personnel.
