*"The public knows, or even Anil Vij knew, that the BJP government would come" – Vij*

Kaithel/Chandigarh/New Delhi, December 13 – Haryana’s Energy, Transport, and Labor Minister Anil Vij today launched an attack on the opposition, stating that "the opposition is flustered and failing to play its responsible role because the issue of the Gandhi family’s connections with George Soros has been raised in both the Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha, and under a principle, bigger issues are being raised." He added, "As it appears, I believe that the opposition is playing into the hands of foreigners, and it is possible that these dictations are also coming from there."

Energy Minister Anil Vij was responding to media person’s questions after a meeting of the District Public Relations and Grievance Redressal Committee in Kaithal, in relation to the opposition’s no-confidence motion against the Vice President. He mentioned that "the opposition has never said before that the Vice President or the Rajya Sabha Chairman is biased, and these statements are being made in a planned manner."

*"BJP ministers have been continuously talking to farmers" – Vij*

Regarding questions about the farmers' issue, Vij said that "BJP ministers have been consistently talking to farmers. Now, since the Supreme Court has set up a committee to talk to them, that committee is engaging with the farmers."

*"The 140 crore people of the country should welcome 'One Nation, One Election'" – Vij*

When asked about 'One Nation, One Election', he stated that "This is a decision that will take the country forward. This should have been implemented immediately after independence, but it was not on the agenda of the governments formed thereafter. Now, under Prime Minister Narendra Modi's nationalist vision, the country aims to become a developed nation by 2047. Due to frequent elections and the imposition of the model code of conduct, development work is continuously stalled. When the Lok Sabha elections were held, work was stalled, then the state assembly elections took place, halting public work. After that, Maharashtra elections were held, and now Delhi elections are approaching. Elections are a continuous process, and development work cannot progress. Therefore, this is a great step, and the 140 crore people of the country should welcome it."

*"The public knows, or even Anil Vij knew, that the BJP government would come" – Vij*

In response to questions about whether Hooda father-son duo's efforts to strengthen the party by entering the field, Vij said that "Fine, they can keep trying for five years, but people have already sidelined them. They used to sleep thinking they were the Chief Minister, dividing departments and districts among themselves. But the public knows, or even Anil Vij knew, that the BJP government would come."

*"As far as my understanding and knowledge, He (BS Hooda) will surely face jail time" – Vij*

In response to a question about whether Hooda’s rightful place is in jail, Vij said that "Absolutely, it’s true, because there are ongoing court cases against him. I have studied them to some extent, and as per my understanding, he will definitely face jail time. When and where this happens will be decided by the honorable court."

*"Rules will be made regarding losses caused by the electricity department" – Vij*

Regarding field employees performing clerical work in the electricity department, Vij replied, "I was not aware of such an issue, but I will certainly look into it." On deaths caused by high tension wires, he said that "I had already stated in the first meeting that any damage caused due to departmental negligence should be compensated, and rules for this should be made. I gave these instructions in the first meeting."

*"Cutting colonies under high tension wires is also a very serious issue" – Vij*

Vij further added that "In addition, I have ordered a review of the capacity and load of all transformers across the state. If the load is underutilized, they will be upgraded. Similarly, the wires and their capacity will also be reviewed, and I have instructed the department to upgrade it. This is a major task that will take time." Regarding the cutting of colonies under high-tension wires, he said that "It is a very serious issue. Those who cut colonies under these wires trap people and get away, and then accidents happen. We will think about this and make a decision accordingly."

*"Action will be taken on every complaint during the committee meeting" – Vij*

He stated that "During the District Public Relations and Grievance Redressal Committee meeting, all complaints received today were reddressed. My effort is to ensure that people don’t have to keep going around and asking for justice repeatedly. I would tell officials that if a complaint has come to you and no action is being taken, it should not be like that. We should ensure that people get justice, not just multiple court dates."

Regarding the complaint about the non-payment of a fine of ₹20 lakhs, he said that "There is a law regarding this, and we will follow the law. The pollution department is responsible for implementing any rules. In this case, action was taken, a fine of ₹20 lakh was imposed. However, no fine has been paid, nor has any action been taken. The law requires that an FIR should be registered in this case."

*"Energy Minister meets with people waiting outside the meeting hall, gives instructions"*

Regarding the large number of people waiting outside the meeting hall during the District Public Relations and Grievance Redressal Committee meeting, Vij said that "I immediately told everyone that I would meet with all those waiting outside." After the meeting, Anil Vij met with the people waiting outside and gave instructions to the concerned officials regarding their grievances.
