Chandigarh, 2 February : Haryana Chief Minister, Sh Nayab Singh Saini is actively campaigning as a star campaigner for the Delhi Assembly elections. On Sunday, he addressed two public meetings in support of BJP candidates. One at Ranikheda in support of Gajendra Daral, the BJP candidate from Mundka, and another at Sultanpuri in support of Karam Singh Karma, the BJP candidate from Sultanpur Majra (SC). Both gatherings saw a huge turnout, with large number of people coming to listen to the Chief Minister of Haryana.

Chief Minister Sh. Nayab Singh Saini, while addressing the public, stated that February 5 will be a decisive day for Delhi's future. He urged the people to recognize the importance of the upcoming time and emphasized that there is much work to be done in the short period remaining. "Over the past 15 days, I have visited various parts of Delhi, and the enthusiasm I have seen among the people is undeniable. It is clear that on February 8, the lotus will bloom in Delhi," he said. He further assured that the policies of Prime Minister Sh. Narendra Modi, similar to those implemented in Haryana, will soon be put into action in Delhi, bringing about a significant positive change in the lives of its residents.

*Kejriwal harassed every section in ten years*

Sh. Nayab Singh Saini, while launching a scathing attack on former Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, said that the Aam Aadmi Party government has been a disaster for Delhi. He accused Kejriwal of harassing every section of Delhi's population over the past decade. “Kejriwal has done nothing but deceive the public with false promises,” Saini said. He pointed out that Kejriwal had promised clean water for Delhi and claimed he would clean the Yamuna River. "Now, in 2025, the condition of the Yamuna has worsened even further," he added, highlighting the failure of Kejriwal’s commitments.

*I drank Yamuna water myself to expose his lies*

Chief Minister Sh. Nayab Singh Saini took a jibe at former Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal over the issue of Yamuna water, accusing him of lying for his own benefit. “To expose his lies, I went to the Yamuna ghat in Palla village and drank the water myself so that the people’s fears could be alleviated,” Saini said. He explained that he took water from the point where Haryana supplies water to Delhi, as well as from the area where Kejriwal claims to provide water to the city. “I went upstream from that point to fill the water, and there was a stark difference between the two sources,” he added, highlighting the disparity in water quality.

Chandigarh, February 2 - Union Minister of Power Sh. Manohar Lal stated that efforts to revive the holy Saraswati River in Haryana began in 1986. The Haryana Saraswati Heritage Development Board was established 10 years ago to oversee this important initiative. Over the past decade, approximately 80 percent of the land along the Saraswati River’s route has been acquired by the Board either through donation or purchase to remove encroachments. Once this work is completed, efforts to restore the Saraswati River’s flow will be fully realized.

Union Minister Sh. Manohar Lal was speaking at the closing ceremony of the International Saraswati Mahotsav, organized by the Haryana Saraswati Heritage Development Board, at Pehowa Saraswati Tirath today.

Earlier, Union Minister Sh. Manohar Lal went around the exhibition organized by the Haryana Saraswati Heritage Development Board and the Saras Mela. He also inaugurated the cultural evening featuring renowned folk artist Gajendra Phogat. During the event, he extended his congratulations and best wishes to the people of the state on the occasion of Basant Panchami and Saraswati Jayanti.

He stated that rivers have been regarded as sacred for thousands of years, and the five elements of nature—land, sky, air, fire, and water—have always been revered as divine. Worshiping these elements fosters good values, and with these values, the foundation of a strong society and nation can be established. Keeping these principles in mind, programs like the International Saraswati Mahotsav and International Gita Mahotsav are being organized to preserve our culture and familiarize the younger generation with our rich cultural heritage.

He stated that the Vedas and Puranas were written on the banks of the sacred Saraswati River, flowing through the land of Haryana. In recognition of this historical significance, the government has renamed Bilaspur as Vyaspur, in honor of Maharishi Vyas, and Mustajapur as Saraswati Nagar.

The Uni on Minister stated that this area is known as Dev Bhoomi, and efforts are being made to preserve its history and culture. Continuous researchon the Saraswati River is underway and will continue in the future. Chandigarh, February 2: Haryana's Public Works Minister, Sh. Ranbir Gangwa, has praised the Union Budget for the financial year 2025-26, presented by Union Finance Minister Smt. Nirmala Sitharaman. He highlighted that the budget outlines several visionary and inclusive policies that are crucial not just for national development but also for the progress of Haryana and every other state. He described the budget as development-oriented and well-balanced.

He said that this budget is a significant step towards realizing the vision of a self-reliant India under the leadership of Prime Minister, Sh Narendra Modi. In Haryana alone, there are 11 lakh income tax payers, and this budget will take about 5 lakh people out of the income tax bracket. People from all sections of society have praised this budget, as it reflects the government's commitment to prioritizing the needs of the common man, social welfare, and ensuring a bright future for all Indians. With this budget, the country is poised to advance rapidly on the path of development.

Sh. Ranbir Gangwa stated that this budget represents an unprecedented step towards the rapid improvement of the agriculture sector. It will boost farmers' incomes and reduce dependence on imports, with farmers set to directly benefit. Now, farmers will be able to avail loans of up to Rs 5 lakh through subsidy cards. To promote cotton cultivation, farmers in districts such as Hisar, Fatehabad, Sirsa, and Kaithal will receive significant benefits. Additionally, a 6-year mission will be launched to achieve self-sufficiency in pulse production.

He mentioned that under the Prime Minister's package of five schemes, employment and skill development opportunities will be provided to over 3 crore youth in the next five years, benefiting the youth of Haryana as well. Furthermore, the budget includes a provision of more than Rs 500 crore to promote education in Artificial Intelligence (AI).

The Public Works Minister highlighted several key proposals in the budget, including the approval of 100 percent foreign investment in the insurance sector and the removal of custom duties on materials used for EV battery manufacturing. Additionally, women from the SC/ST category will be eligible for loans up to Rs 2 crore without collateral, which will empower those aiming to become self-reliant. Notably, Haryana, which produces about 65 percent of the country's automobiles, is expected to see further growth in this sector. He also said that the government has eliminated custom duties on 36 life-saving medicines. Furthermore, the credit guarantee cover for MSMEs will be increased from Rs 5 crore to Rs 10 crore, and all government secondary schools will be connected to broadband.

The extension of the ‘Har Ghar Nal Se Jal’ scheme until 2028, term loans of up to Rs. 2 crore for women entrepreneurs, and an increase in the credit card limit for farmers from Rs. 3 lakh to Rs. 5 lakh shows the government’s commitment to supporting all sections of society.

The Minister stated that the establishment of a Centre of Excellence (CoE) in Artificial Intelligence (AI) for education, with an allocation of Rs. 500 crore, will be a significant milestone for modern education. Under the leadership of the Chief Minister, Sh. Nayab Singh Saini, the Haryana government is also committed to making Haryana a global education hub. The goal is to provide AI and advanced skills training, creating ample employment opportunities for the youth.

The Development and Panchayats Minister also highlighted the government's focus on accessible healthcare. To enhance cancer treatment and early detection, the budget has made cancer medicines duty-free, making them more affordable. Additionally, within the next three years, Cancer Day Care Centers will be established in every district, providing significant relief to patients.

He said that the budget also includes a plan to develop a “Grameen Credit Score” framework to meet the loan requirements for public sector banks, self-help groups, and rural borrowers. This will help small businesses and entrepreneurs access better financial support.

Sh. Krishan Lal Panwar said that the Union Budget is a major step towards a self-reliant and developed India. Chandigarh, February 2: The Haryana Government has declared February 5, 2025 (Wednesday), the day of polling for the General Election to the Legislative Assembly of NCT of Delhi, as a paid holiday/special casual leave (paid) in all Haryana Government offices, educational and other institutes, and boards, and corporations. This provision, under Section 25 of the Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881, and Section 135-B of the Representation of the People Act, 1951 (amended in 1996), applies to employees who are registered voters of NCT of Delhi, allowing them to cast their vote in the General Election.

A notification has been issued by the Chief Secretary Office in this regard.

Employees of factories, shops and private establishments in Haryana, who are registered voters of NCT of Delhi, are also entitled to take leave (paid) for the same purpose.

He stated that the Haryana government is fully committed to implementing the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, which was introduced under the leadership of Prime Minister Sh.Narendra Modi. The education department has already been directed to ensure its swift implementation.

The Education Minister was speaking as the Chief Guest at a programme held at C.R. Model Public School, Jharsa, Gurugram, to celebrate the 144th birth anniversary of Deenbandhu Sir Chhotu Ram.

Sh.Mahipal Dhanda said that Sir Chhotu Ram has done historic work in uplifting the oppressed and underprivileged sections of society. As a revenue minister, Sir Chhotu Ram used his authority to provide justice to farmers burdened by heavy debts, he added.

The minister emphasised that education should not be limited to obtaining degrees but should also focus on character building and skill development to help students secure the right employment opportunities. He said that the children should be taught about great leaders and warriors who can inspire them to contribute to the nation's progress.

He said that under the leadership of Prime Minister, Sh.Narendra Modi India is growing its global reputation. He appealed to everyone to work together towards making India a developed nation by 2047, emphasising that efforts must begin now with dedication and commitment.
