CHANDIGARH POLICE BRIEF OF CASES DATED-20.02.2025

NDPS Act

A case FIR No. 20 u/s 15 NDSP Act has been registered at Police Station-Ind. Area on the complaint of Paramveer Singh, General Manager, Punjab Roadways against unknown person who placed 1.815 KG drugs in almirah in the workshop area of Punjab Roadways, Chandigarh on 11.11.2024. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Obstruction in public path

Chandigarh Police arrested Krishan R/o # 27, Sec-18, Chandigarh age 42 years from Booth Mkt. Sec-18 on 19-02-2025 as he has installed rehri there which causes obstruction to public passage. Later on, bailed out. In this regard, a case FIR No. 15 u/s 285 BNS has been registered in Police Station-19, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Theft

A case FIR No. 12 u/s 305, 331 BNS has been registered at Police Station- Manimajra on the complaint of Naresh Kumar R/o # 2161, PWT, Manimajra, Chandigarh against unknown person who stolen away complainant’s cash Rs. 2 lakh after broken the lock from his house on 19-02-2025. Investigation of the case is in progress.
