Mahendragarh, 21.06.24-On the occasion of 10th International Day of Yoga, students, teachers, scholars, staff members and villagers practiced yoga at Central University of Haryana (CUH), Mahendragarh. \Prof. Sushma Yadav, Pro-Vice Chancellor; Prof. Suneel Kumar, Registrar of CUH were also present with Dr. Narayan Prakash Giri, Dean, Department of Yoga and Naturopathy, Om Stirling Global University, Hisar was present as the chief guest. Prof. Tankeshwar Kumar said that a healthy body and mind is necessary to stay healthy and it can be achieved only through yoga.

The Vice Chancellor wished everyone on the International Day of Yoga and said that today, every person wants a disease-free healthy life. For which it is necessary to be physically as well as mentally healthy. This is possible only through yoga. If we look at the ancient studies of India, the yoga described in it provides us with the means to achieve a healthy body and mind. Today, the whole world is realizing the importance of yoga and as a result of this, the practice is reaching the entire world community through the International Day of Yoga.
The students of Department of Yoga made all the participants practice yoga under the yoga protocol prescribed by the Ministry of AYUSH. Prof. Narayan Prakash Giri said that a person needs to be healthy to achieve any goal. For a healthy body, a balanced diet, regular exercise, external and internal hygiene and rest are essential. Yoga shows the way to live a healthy life physically and mentally and it is a means for which one does not need to spend much financially.
Prof. Dinesh Gupta, Dean, School of Interdisciplinary and Applied Sciences, gave the outline of the program. Introduction of the chief guest was given by Assistant Professor of Yoga Department Dr. Ajaypal while the Vice Chancellor of the University was introduced by Dean Student Welfare Prof. Anand Sharma. At the end of the program, the Vice Chancellor of the University Prof. Tankeshwar Kumar, Pro Vice-Chancellor Prof. Sushma Yadav and Chief Guest Prof. N.P. Giri awarded certificates to participants in yoga camps and various programs organized by the University. Member of the organizing committee Dr. Kiran Rani conducted the stage while the Assistant Professor of Yoga Department Dr. Naveen gave the vote of thanks.
On this occasion, the Controller of Examination Prof. Rajeev Kaushik, Prof. Kanti Prakash Sharma, Prof. Payal Chandel, Prof. Sunita Tanwar, Prof. Pawan Maurya, Prof. Vikas Garg, Prof. Harish Kumar, Dr. Ramesh Kumar, Dr. Pradeep Kumar, Dr Ashok Sharma, Dr. Neelam, Dr. C.M. Meena, Dr. Devendra Rajput, Dr. Anup Yadav, Shri Rajesh Kumar along with a large number of teachers, officers, employees, students and researchers were present.
