CHANDIGARH, 22.06.24-The four days holistic character building workshop ‘Sapta Sanskar’ organized by T.S. Central State Library, Sector 17, Chandigarh from 18th to 21st June, under its regular annual feature- Summerfest 2024 concluded with a colorful finale today. Each and every participant was given an opportunity to come on the stage and display his/her creative talent.

The fourth edition of this workshop primarily aimed at imparting some key lessons in building holistic character of participants in the age group of 6-14 years. These foundational lesson on self awareness,self improvement, national pride and oneness of existence inspired young participants to become awakened and become responsible citizens of our country.

The finale of the workshop showcasted an impressive display of creative excellence and confidence. The show was largely attended by the parents of the participants was hosted and executed entirely by participating children themselves. Amongst the array of dance recitals, casio- recitals,bhangra-giddha performances, poster presentations, participants also excelled in a group poem and gave their candid feedback. Most of the participants expressed their delight in imbibing some unforgettable lessons on good habits formations, digital detox,being water wise and becoming a green home- maker.

In his concluding remarks, the resource of the workshop Dr. Sudhir Baweja former coordinator, center for Swami vivekananda studies, Panjab University invoked the parents to pay special attention to strengthening the character building of their children.

Dr. Neeza Singh, Librarian of the T.S. Central State Library, Sector 17, Chd. before proposing a vote of thanks expressed her genuine joy in observing some visible change in the enthused participants. She also informed the audience that the library will continue to organize more similar workshops for the benefit of their young readers. The event concluded with Jana Gana Mana, our national anthem.
