CHANDIGARH,07.09.24-The Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER), Chandigarh, celebrated World Physiotherapy Day with enthusiasm and a series of engaging activities. Prof. M.S. Dhillon, Director of Orthopedics at Fortis Mohali, graced the event as the Guest of Honor.

Prof. Sameer Aggarwal, Head of the Department of PRM, inaugurated the event, highlighting the importance of physiotherapy in improving quality of life, especially in managing chronic conditions like back pain.
A special highlight was the “Significant Contribution Award” presented to Dr.Prattima Ratan(PT) for her outstanding work in physiotherapy and commitment to patient care. Esteemed speakers Dr. Vishal Kumar, Dr. Apinderpreet Singh,Dr. Babita Ghai, Dr. Somya Saxena, Ms. Babina Manchanda, Mr. Abhijeet Paul, and Mr. Upender Goswami shared valuable insights on low back pain management.
This event was successfully organized by PGIMER Physiotherapist Association and was concluded with a vote of thanks from Dr. Monica Chhabra (President,PPA) and Mr. Amrit Pal Singh Sood(Gen Secretary ,PPA), expressing gratitude to all contributors.
