CHANDIGARH,14.09.24-Dev Samaj College for Women, Sec 45/B Chandigarh organized a Freshers’ Party ‘EMBARK’ with the blessings of Shriman Nirmal Singh Ji Dhillon, Chairman, Dev Samaj College Managing Committee and Prof (Dr) Agnese Dhillon, Secretary, Dev Samaj College Managing Committee on 14th September 2024. Prof(Dr) Neeru Malik, Principal and Dr Jaspal Kaur , Advisor were accorded with a floral welcome by the faculty.

Mr Pankaj Mehta, Celebrity RJ and Anchor was the host of the event. He elevated the event with his exceptional hosting skills. The college adorned a colourful look as the freshers’ came vibrantly dressed. The second year students presented cultural items to welcome the newcomers. The Staff and students thoroughly enjoyed the pageant show. Mannat of BBA I was crowned Miss Fresher. Sahilpreet of Bcom was 1^st Runners-up followed by Manassavi of BBA and Akshita of BCom who were jointly declared as 2^nd Runners-up.

Miss Confident was bagged by Simran of Bcom and Miss Charming title went to Kalpana of BCA I.

Prof (Dr) Neeru Malik crowned the winners and congratulated the new students on the beginning of their new of phase of life. She emphasized on the need to participate in college activities to develop their personality and become responsible citizens of the country. She congratulated the organizing team on the success of the event.
