Chandigarh: 17TH September, 2024:The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering at Punjab Engineering College (Deemed to be University), Chandigarh, organized a special expert talk titled "Digital Revolution" in celebration of Engineer's Day 2024. The event featured distinguished keynote speakers, including Dr. Neha Sardana (IIT Ropar) and Er. Deepak Garg (Founder & CEO, INNOW8), along with esteemed faculty members Dr. D.R. Prajapati (DSA), Dr. Puneet Chawla (ADSA), Dr. Jyoti Kedia, and Dr. Satinder Singh Mohar, as well as the entire faculty of the ECE Department.
Dr. Neena, former Head of the ECE Department, highlighted the significance of such events, emphasizing their profound impact on society. She also underscored the importance of Engineer's Day, celebrated in memory of Sir Mokshagundam Visvesvaraya. Dr. Neha Sardana, the keynote speaker, opened her talk with a fascinating discussion on Nanoantennas and the digital revolution. She delved into topics such as metamaterials, solar cells, and the evolution of digital technologies over the years. The second speaker, Er. Deepak Garg, shared his entrepreneurial journey as the founder and CEO of INNOW8. He provided insights into the fields of communications, IoT, interactive AI, and robotics.
