Jalandhar, 30.09.24-; To inspire innovation and tackle pressing societal challenges, the Department of Student Research and Projects at LPU hosted the gear-up season-3 hackathon. In which 250 teams had been selected to advance to the internal hackathon stage. It is the event where innovators come together to develop new approaches to solve problems within specific given hours.

“LPU Pro Chancellor Dr. Rashmi Mittal emphasising that this platform invites students to propose novel solutions to real-world problems. The competition is fierce, but even unsuccessful attempts can lead to valuable lessons for future teams”. This internal hackathon serves as a gateway to the Smart India Hackathon 2024, an initiative led by the Government of India. Teams participated in two categories: software solutions and hardware solutions, each consisting of six members with diverse skills and expertise. Over 36 hours, participants worked intensively to develop their prototypes, with the top 30 teams advancing to the national-level competition.
