Chandigarh, September 30, 2024- The Goswami Ganesh Dutta Sanatan Dharam College Library Readers Club hosted its inaugural Reading Circle 2024-25 session, titled 'Verses and Voices'. The event was an introduction to the new members about the club's premier tradition.

The event began with a warm welcome from Ananya Abrol, President, setting an inviting tone for the proceedings. All of the club members actively participated in the event, reciting self-composed and author-written poems and prose, sharing unique perspectives that sparked meaningful discussions, enriching the literary experience for all attendees.

In a message,Dr. Ajay Sharma, Principal, congratulated the club members for fostering a vibrant literary culture among the student body. Dr. Gurpreet Singh, Convener, expressed his vision for the club as a platform for students to express their creativity and engage in intellectual discourse.

The readings of participants covered a range of topics, including social issues, nature, love, courage, and more, featuring both original works and pieces by authors like Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam, Bulleh Shah, Robert Browning, and Jimmy Osborne. The inaugural edition of 'Voices and Verses' was a resounding success, showcasing the talent of aspiring poets and writers at GGDSD College and inspiring a love of literature among the student community.
