Chandigarh, April 19, 2025-Bharatiya Janata Party Chandigarh Media In-charge Sanjeev Rana launched a scathing attack on the Congress party, stating, “A party that has repeatedly crossed every limit of political decorum has no right to preach to us about civility.”
Rana asserted, “Chandigarh Congress President Lucky should stop trying to lecture us.”
He further said that whenever it suits their political interests, Congress leaders have no hesitation in using abusive language—even for the Prime Minister of the country. And today, the same Congress wants to talk about civility and restraint.
“We address everyone with respect. But those who don’t think twice before insulting the Prime Minister are now hiding behind the façade of morality—this hypocrisy will no longer work,” said Sanjeev Rana.
Rana also raised serious questions about the recent statement by senior Congress leader Partap Singh Bajwa:
“Partap Bajwa publicly claimed that 50 grenades have been brought into Punjab. The question is—how does he know how many were brought, by whom, and where they were stored?”
“Does Chandigarh Congress also possess prior information about such acts? If not, then why are Lucky and Manish Tewari still silent on this issue?”
“Is this silence a mere coincidence, or does the similarity between Bajwa’s statement and that of Khalistani terrorist Gurpatwant Singh Pannun point to something deeper?”
BJP Demands:
1. Congress must immediately clarify its position on Partap Bajwa’s statement.
2. Manish Tewari and Lucky must come clean on whether they support Bajwa or stand with the nation’s security.
3. If the Congress party or its leaders have access to any information related to terrorist activities, it is their legal and moral duty to report it to the investigating agencies. Withholding such information would be a matter of national betrayal.
“Congress’ silence is not neutrality—it is complicity in a conspiracy.”
Rana concluded by saying that when Congress uses banners portraying Prime Minister Modi in the style of the US President, it is not merely political opposition—it reveals where their loyalties lie.
“Those who seek to erase India’s boundaries will be met not with words, but with a battle for national interest.”
