While the Constitution provides for amendments, he said that the current BJP government has made amendments in the interest of the people, whereas opposition parties have often amended it for their own benefit.

Despite that, during the last Lok Sabha elections, the opposition spread misinformation alleging that the Constitution and reservation system would be changed.
Highlighting recent developments, he shared that on April 14, Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited Haryana on the occasion of Dr. Ambedkar’s birth anniversary. On the same day, Haryana got its first airport and the foundation stone for an 800 MW thermal power plant was laid in Yamunanagar. Throughout his life, he fought against caste-based discrimination, social injustice, and economic inequality. His contributions to the Constitution ensured equal opportunities, justice, education, and dignity for every citizen.
He added that the current government is walking in the footsteps of Dr. Ambedkar. Today, youth are securing jobs purely on the basis of merit. He recalled that when the first government of independent India was formed, Dr. Ambedkar was not initially included among the 14 ministers. However, due to the efforts of Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee, he was later nominated to the Rajya Sabha. He noted that it was the BJP government that posthumously honored Dr. Ambedkar with the Bharat Ratna in 1990, and it was Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision that led to April 14 being declared a national holiday. He affirmed that the Haryana state government is committed to following Dr. Ambedkar’s path and is celebrating the birth anniversaries of great leaders as official events.
