Three persons arrested for consuming liquor at public place

Chandigarh Police were arrested three (03) persons in separate cases U/S 68-1(B) Punjab Police Act 2007 & 510 IPC which registered in different Police Stations i.e. PS-03 = 01, PS-Ind. Area = 01 and PS-39 = 01, they were consuming liquor at public places at different parts of the City on 01.012025. Later they were released on bail.

One arrested for possessing illicit liquor

Chandigarh Police arrested Manoj @ Moji R/o # 857 DMC , Chandigarh who was arrested and recovered 48 quarters of country made liquor from his possession near park back side Vishwakarma Mandir DMC, Chandigarh on 01-01-2025. A case FIR No. 01, U/S 61-1-14 Excise Act has been registered in PS-Maloya, Chandigarh. Later, he was bailed out. Investigation of the case is in progress.
