MAHENDERGARH, 18.04.25-The two-day cultural and technical fest "PRAWAH 2025" at the Central University of Haryana (CUH), Mahendragarh, concluded on a vibrant note with a Kavi Sammelan and prize distribution ceremony on Thursday. This event organized jointly by the Office of the Dean Students' Welfare and the Coding Club of the Department of Computer Science and Information Technology, the event witnessed enthusiastic participation and creative brilliance.
The Kavi Sammelan featured renowned poets presenting compositions in various poetic genres including humor, romance, satire, and valor, captivating the audience. Vice-Chancellor of the University Prof. Tankeshwar Kumar expressed gratitude to the participating poets and dignitaries, highlighting the event's role in energizing and inspiring young minds. He commended the organizing team for curating a platform that fostered literary and artistic expression.
Distinguished guests, including Pro-Vice Chancellor Prof. Pawan Kumar Sharma, and the first lady of the University professor Prof. Sunita Srivastava, graced the occasion. Speaking on the occasion, Prof. Pawan Kumar Sharma appreciated the poets for using their art to sensitively reflect on various themes and societal issues.
Event Convener Dr. Sunil Baiflawat shared that celebrated poets such as comic poet Suresh Albela, romantic poetess Ms. Sapna Soni, lyricist Ashok Deep, and folk poet Ram Raj Rajasthani delivered impactful performances. He concluded with an inspiring message on turning dreams into reality through perseverance.
Dr. Sunil, Coordinator of the Coding Club, highlighted various competitions held under PRAWAH 2025, including coding challenges, treasure hunt, e-gaming, debates, and instrumental performances. The debate on "Is Artificial Intelligence Essential for Human Development?" saw judges Dr. Devendra Singh Rajput, Mr. Dharmendra Kumar Meena, and Mr. Rajendra Yadav providing valuable insights.
The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Prof. Anand Sharma, Dean of Students' Welfare. Faculty members Dr. Jitendra Kumar, Dr. Neeraj Karn Singh, Prof. Keshav Singh Rawat, Dr. Vikas Siwach, and Dr. Nitin Goyal played crucial roles in the success of the event.
