CHANDIGARH , 16.04.24-The Core Committee of Residents Welfare Association, MHC Sector-13 Chandigarh comprising its President, Colonel Gursewak Singh( Veteran), General Secretary Mr SA Qureshi and Mr SK Gautam met Shri Rajeev Verma Adviser to the Chandigarh Administrator and submitted a memorandum. They contented that some long pending issues are not being resolved causing enormous inconvenience to the public.

Firstly, residents are particularly anguished at the lackadaisical approach of the authorities for not resolving the traffic issues in MHC; speed regulators are not installed on busy road junctions nor any decision is taken on a suggested alternative route to divert Panchkula bond traffic from MHC.

Secondly, even after one year after badly digging all the roads and garrage lanes for laying water pipes, restoration work is still not done.

The example of disjointed way of doing work is that even after 6 months of erecting poles , garden lights are not yet fitted.

Finally, in the name of Model code of conduct some official have stopped doing routine repair works.

The Adviser assured the delegation a prompt action on all these issues.
