Chandigarh, June 15 – Haryana Chief Minister Sh. Nayab Singh Saini said this time, the International Gita Jayanti Mahotsav will be celebrated in collaboration with England. Every year, International Gita Jayanti programmes are organized in collaboration with different countries. The event sees the participation of lakhs of devotees who gather at the sacred Brahma Sarovar in Kurukshetra every year.
The Chief Minister was talking to journalists on Sunday after the successful organization of state-level yoga marathon organized at Brahma Sarovar under the aegis of Haryana Sports Department, AYUSH Department and District Administration.
Speaking on political developments in neighbouring Punjab, he said the people of Punjab, once disillusioned by the Congress, are now equally disappointed with the Aam Aadmi Party. Both parties have only made empty promises and worked for their own interests. The public has now made up its mind to bring change and make the lotus bloom in Punjab too.
In response to a question, the Chief Minister said that the people of the state are well aware of the law and order of the Congress rule. Now, the law and order is continuously getting stronger in the state. Wherever there is a violation of law and order, the police investigate and takes strict action against the accused.
He also expressed grief over the plane crash in Ahmedabad and prayed to God to give place to the departed souls in his feet. He said it is not in the hands of anyone to tell when an accident may happen. In this accident, a daughter of our district has also lost her life, which is very sad news. At such a time, the government is standing with the affected families to provide all kinds of support, he said.

Chandigarh, June 15 – Haryana Chief Minister Mr. Nayab Singh Saini said to make the state ‘Yoga-yukt, Nasha-mukt’, the yoga marathon has become a Sankalp Yatra on the holy land of Kurukshetra. In this Sankalp Yatra, thousands of youth, elderly and women have established a new dimension by running with enthusiasm and passion. The government has also taken a pledge to make Haryana ‘Yoga-yukt, Nasha-mukt’ to save the youth from drug addiction. More than 19.27 lakh people from the state have joined the campaign launched ahead of the International Yoga Day programme to be held on June 21 in Kurukshetra, which is a matter of pride for us.
The Chief Minister was addressing a state-level yoga marathon organized under the aegis of Haryana Sports Department, AYUSH Department, Haryana Yog Aayog and District Administration at the South Gate of Brahma Sarovar on Sunday. Earlier, the Chief Minister, former Minister of State Sh. Subhash Sudha and Director General Sh. Sanjeev Verma flagged off the state-level yoga marathon and during this, the Chief Minister showered flowers on the runners. He also distributed cash rewards worth Rs 3.46 lakh as prizes to the 20 winners in thewomen’s and men’s category in this marathon. Gaurav and Monica of Sonipat, who came first in this yoga marathon, were honoured with Rs 51,000.
The Chief Minister said on 21st June, we will get the opportunity to do yoga with Yoga Guru Swami Ramdev on the banks of the holy place Brahma Sarovar, for which online registrations are also being done. Today, 6 days before the International Yoga Day programme, a yoga marathon has been organized, in which more than 20,000 youth participated. He said we must take out one hour every day for our body as a person who is healthy will work with new energy. This will increase the speed of work. We need to incorporate yoga in our lives.
Addiction creates obstacles in the development of nation
The Chief Minister said this year, the theme of International Yoga Day is ‘One Earth One Health’, moving forward on which we have made it more effective by adding the slogan ‘Yoga-yukt, Nasha-mukt’ Haryana. Also, the youth of the state have to be saved from addiction. Addiction is a bad practice, which creates obstacles in the development of any nation. He said we have launched this campaign so that Prime Minister Sh. Narendra Modi's resolution of a ‘Viksit Bharat’ by the year 2047 can be fulfilled. He said yoga is an ancient method given by our sages and we need to preserve this gift. Prime Minister Sh. Narendra Modi has laid great emphasis on better health for the Fit India vision.
Yoga campaign has become a form of green revolution
The Chief Minister said this yoga campaign is not limited to health and fitness, but is becoming a form of green revolution on the land of Haryana. So far, 67,508 saplings have been planted, which shows our commitment towards the environment. He said 9.90 lakh people are connected digitally, 38,000 people from the AYUSH Department and 1.38 lakh people have participated through the Sports Department.
Various organizations will organize yoga camps at 2500 places on June 21
The Chief Minister said Yoga Jagran Yatra will reach 5,000 villages of the state by June 19 and make people aware about yoga. Patanjali Yoga Peeth, Bharatiya Yoga Sansthan, Brahma Kumaris and Art of Living are organizing yoga camps at 2500 places in the state on June 21. Under the Green Yoga Campaign, 10 lakh medicinal plants will be distributed and planted by June 21. He said now a 5-minute Y-break has also been started in the office so that the employees remain stress free.
Welcoming the guests, Director General Sh. Sanjeev Verma highlighted the state-level yoga marathon as well as all the achievements of the Sports Department and the schemes being prepared by the government for the players.

Haryana Government is committed to ensure holistic development of the state, Nayab Singh Saini
Chandigarh, June 15- Haryana Chief Minister, Sh. Nayab Singh Saini on Sunday addressed a ‘Dhanyawad’ Rally in Rewari as the chief guest. Prior to the event, the Chief Minister inaugurated and laid the foundation stones for 15 development projects worth Rs. 288.31 crore in Rewari. These included the inauguration of 8 projects worth Rs. 193.94 crore and foundation stones for 7 projects amounting to Rs. 94.37 crore.
The Chief Minister announced Rs. 50.58 crore for the construction of an additional water storage tank on 9 acres 7 kanals of land in Bhagwanpur to improve water supply in Rewari. In addition, he announced Rs. 7.20 crore for setting up a boosting station and laying a new pipeline for drinking water in Dungerwas village and Rs. 5.06 crore for the construction of water works and a new pipeline in Gokulpur village.
He also announced that a library would be constructed in Rewari upon availability of land. Furthermore, Rs. 4.39 crore was announced for the construction of the Market Committee building in Rewari. For the renovation of five roads under the Haryana State Agricultural Marketing Board, an amount of Rs. 4.20 crore was announced by the Chief Minister.
Besides this, he also announced that 18 roads having a cumulative length of 37.32 km will be repaired through the concerned agency. An amount of Rs, 3.36 crore was announced for special repairs to 12 roads (18.48 km), and Rs. 26.84 crore for the renovation of 25 roads (37.59 km).
The Chief Minister said 51 PWD roads spanning 90.99 km in the Rewari Assembly will be repaired, and construction of 5 new roads (10.95 km) will commence soon. A new sewer line will also be laid in Rewari city.
He further announced that the feasibility of a flyover near Colonel Ram Singh Chowk would be checked, and it would be constructed accordingly. The trauma center would be shifted to a new location from the District Civil Hospital once land becomes available. The Urban Health Center in Dharuhera would be upgraded to a PHC (Primary Health Center). A new office building for the Rewari Municipal Council will also be constructed. If land is available, the building for the Government Model Sanskriti Senior Secondary School in Kakoria and the office of the Sub-Divisional Agriculture Officer will also be constructed. Construction work on the Government Boys College building in Rewari will commence soon, announced Sh. Nayab Singh Saini.
The Chief Minister while addressing the issue of industrial wastewater entering the Masani Barrage, stated that the government has prepared a comprehensive plan. Under this plan, Sewage Treatment Plants (STPs) will be installed to purify the water before releasing it into the barrage, making it usable for agriculture. He also announced Rs. 5 crore specifically for developmental works in villages of the Rewari Assembly constituency.

Calling Rewari the land of brave soldiers, the Chief Minister said the youth of this region serve the country at the borders, ensuring the safety of citizens. Thanking the public, he said that not only did they vote for a double-engine government a few months ago, but they also added a third engine, ensuring triple-speed development. The people of Haryana have rejected dynastic and corrupt politics and embraced a policy focused on development and nationalism, Sh. Nayab Singh Saini.
He emphasized that the Haryana government belongs not to any one caste, class, or family, but to all 2.80 crore citizens of Haryana. Following the Prime Minister, Sh. Narendra Modi's mantra of Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas, Sabka Prayas, the state government is working for the welfare of every Haryanvi.
He said that since 2014, development projects worth Rs. 1,916 crore have been carried out in the Rewari Assembly. In the past 10 years, 69 announcements have been made for the Rewari Assembly, of which 61 have been completed, and work is ongoing on 4.
The Chief Minister assured that Rewari’s development will now progress at triple the pace. Over the past 10 years, a total of 305 announcements have been made for Rewari district, of which 167 have been fulfilled, and work is underway on 18.
Prime Minister's special connection with Rewari
The Chief Minister said that Prime Minister, Sh. Narendra Modi shares a special bond with this region. Before becoming Prime Minister, on September 15, 2013, he addressed a rally of ex-servicemen on this very land and launched his election campaign. During that rally, he had promised One Rank One Pension, which he fulfilled.
He said that under the Prime Minister, Sh. Narendra Modi's leadership over the past 11 years, India has emerged as a nation proud of its ancient heritage, resilient against current challenges, and ambitious about its future. Before 2014, there was an atmosphere of fear due to terrorism in the country, but under the Prime Minister’s leadership, terrorism has been dealt strong blows. Whenever Pakistan dared to carry out hostile activities on Indian soil, our brave soldiers responded by striking deep inside Pakistani territory.
Model of governance and service in Haryana, corruption curbed
Sh. Nayab Singh Saini said India is progressing rapidly under the leadership of Prime Minister Sh. Narendra Modi. "What we promise, we deliver. ‘Saaf Niti, Sahi Niyat, aur Sashakt Natritave’ (Our policy, intent, and leadership) are all transparent. He said the government has committed in its manifesto to establish the country's largest mustard oil cooperative mill and a military museum in Rewari.
The Chief Minister said that over the last 10 years, Haryana has developed a unique model of good governance and service. This has curbed corruption and ensured that government schemes and services reach the actual beneficiaries. He emphasized the state government’s commitment to balanced development across all regions of Haryana.
After Gurugram, Rewari to become the Next Development Hub – Rao Inderjit Singh
While addressing a ‘Dhanyawad’ rally, Union Minister of State Rao Inderjit Singh said that in the coming years, Rewari district is poised to become a strong and leading center for employment generation, similar to Gurugram. He said that Gurugram, which was once a small municipality, has now become the economic center of Haryana. Rewari should also be developed on the same lines in terms of industrial and infrastructural growth so that local youth can find employment and progress opportunities within their region. Rewari has the potential to become the next major development hub, provided that the right and timely investments and policies are implemented, said Rao Inderjit Singh.
He further said that the Rewari region played a significant role in bringing the BJP-led government to power in Haryana for the third consecutive time. The people have complete faith in the leadership of the Chief Minister, Sh. Nayab Singh Saini, and it is expected that the developmental works carried out over the past ten years will now gain further momentum.
Referring to the problem of waterlogging and contaminated water, he said that industrial wastewater entering from the Rajasthan border into the Masani barrage area is affecting the local environment and groundwater sources. He urged the formulation of an effective plan to manage and treat this polluted water.
In addition, he emphasized the need for constructing a flyover at the railway crossing on the National Highway to ensure seamless traffic access to the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in Rewari. This would help prevent any traffic issues in the coming years, said Rao Inderjit Singh.

CM Nayab Singh Saini inaugurates ultra-modern district jail complex in Rewari
Skill development courses being run for prisoners, libraries being established in all jails: CM
Chandigarh, June 15 - Haryana Chief Minister Sh. Nayab Singh Saini said the state government is trying to bring the prisoners back to the mainstream society by providing them opportunities in jails. For this purpose, facilities of skill development, education and psychological support are being provided to the prisoners so that they can come out and live a respectable life in the society. Skill development courses are being run in jails and library facilities are also being provided to them.
The Chief Minister gave this information on Sunday after inaugurating the ultra-modern new district jail complex built at a cost of Rs 95 crore in 50 acres in village Fideri of Rewari district. He said this new district jail equipped with modern facilities has the capacity to keep 1,000 prisoners. Modern techniques have been used in this jail so that reform and rehabilitation programmes can be run for the prisoners. Apart from the administrative building, 11 barracks, 2 security wards, an industrial space, a 30-bed hospital, control room, canteen and warehouse have been built for the prisoners in this jail complex. Also, 74 houses, a warder hostel, a shopping complex, park and community centre have been constructed in the residential complex building. Trained staff has been appointed for the smooth operation of this jail. Women employees have also been given priority so that women prisoners can get proper care.
The Chief Minister said 335 video conferencing systems have been installed in the jails of the state, through which online appearance of prisoners is done in various courts. From entry to release in the jails of the state and their living conditions, food, their meetings, medical facilities, court appearances and canteen system are being completely computerized.
He said there are 3 central jails and 17 district jails in the state. These have the capacity to keep 22,647 prisoners. Jail radio stations are being run in Central Jail Ambala, Central Jail Hisar and District Jails of Faridabad, Panipat, Gurugram, Karnal, Jhajjar, Rohtak, Yamunanagar and Kurukshetra. The construction work of a high security jail equipped with ultra-modern security system and technology for criminals involved in harsh and serious crimes is in its final stage in Rohtak.
After inaugurating the district jail complex, the Chief Minister visited the jail offices and the jail complex. At the same time, under the ‘Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam’ campaign, he also gave the message of environmental protection by planting saplings in the jail complex. Along with him, Jail and Tourism Minister Dr. Arvind Sharma, MLA Rewari Laxman Singh Yadav, MLA Kosli Anil Yadav, MLA Bawal Dr. Krishan Kumar and former minister Dr. Banwari Lal also planted saplings. After this, the Chief Minister met cordially with all the people present in the programme.

The government has formally launched the ‘AYUSH Drug Inventory Management System’. This state-of-the-art portal will be able to track and monitor all activities related to the distribution of AYUSH medicines across the state through digital medium. The objective of launching this system is to provide quality, timely and transparent AYUSH medicines to the general public.
Arti Singh Rao said now transparency and accountability will be ensured in the distribution of AYUSH medicines in Haryana. Monitoring of availability of medicines will now be digital, so that essential medicines can reach all the districts in time. This portal will make the administrative system of the health department strong and efficient. The main features of this portal include tracking of every medicine under the transparent distribution system. Apart from this, availability of medicines can be seen at any time through real-time stock update. This secure and reliable portal provides complete security of data protection and communication system.
She further said the Haryana Government is constantly striving for the promotion of AYUSH medical systems and its effective implementation on scientific basis. This digital portal is a concrete step towards our same commitment. This entire system is being operated by the AYUSH Department, Haryana and it will be implemented in a phased manner in all the districts of the state. Citizens will no longer have any uncertainty regarding the availability of medicines, as this digital and transparent distribution system will provide them timely and reliable services.
“The AYUSH Drug Inventory Management System is not just a digital tool, but a transformational reform that bridges the gap between traditional medicine and modern governance,” said the Health Minister.
The initiative aligns with the Government of India’s Digital India mission and reflects Haryana’s commitment to smart governance in healthcare delivery, she added.

Panchayats in Haryana will now get direct benefit of stamp duty: Krishan Lal Panwar
Chandigarh, June 15 - Haryana Development and Panchayat Minister Sh. Krishan Lal Panwar said the state government has taken a revolutionary step towards making the panchayats financially strong and self-reliant and has decided to transfer one percent of the total revenue received from stamp duty to Panchayati Raj institutions. This decision will make the Gram Panchayat, Panchayat Samiti and Zila Parishad financially strong and will give them more autonomy in conducting development works at their level.
He informed that under the leadership of Chief Minister Sh. Nayab Singh Saini, the state government is working on a concrete strategy to realize the dreams of rural India, and this decision is a historic initiative in that direction. He said out of this stamp duty, 0.5 percent will be transferred to the Gram Panchayat, 0.25 percent to the Panchayat Samiti and 0.25 percent to the Zila Parishad. He informed that under this scheme, it is proposed to transfer an amount of Rs 572.42 crore to Panchayati Raj institutions. Out of these, Rs 288.16 crore will be provided to 5388 Gram Panchayats of the state, Rs 144.08 crore to 142 Panchayat Samitis and Rs 140.18 crore to 22 Zila Parishads.
Panchayats will get more rights in development works
The Panchayat Minister informed that this will give more autonomy and speed to Panchayati Raj institutions in planning development works, implementing them and using resources as per priority. He also said that even before this, the government had formed inter-district councils and provided the facility of fund transfer to the panchayats, so that they can run the works of various departments independently.
