Mahendergarh, 13.10.25-Prof. Sunita Srivastava, Head, Department of Physics and Astrophysics and Chairperson of the Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC), Central University of Haryana (CUH), Mahendergarh emphasized that youth are the invaluable asset of any nation and the bright future of a country depends on them. She stated that nations with educated and innovative youth set new benchmarks of progress in every field.

Prof. Srivastava shared these thoughts while addressing students as the Chief Guest at a program on “The Role of Innovation in Building a Developed India” organized at PM Shri Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Karira, in collaboration with the Ministry of Education, Government of India. Prof. Sunita also informed the students about the ongoing innovation-driven initiatives at CUH under the guidance of Vice-Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) Tankeshwar Kumar, aimed at contributing to the vision of a Viksit Bharat.

During the event, Hon’ble Union Minister of Education, Shri Dharmendra Pradhan, addressed the participants online, highlighting the pivotal role of youth-led innovations in making India a developed nation under the leadership of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. He encouraged the use of indigenous products and appreciated the innovative prototypes prepared by students. The event was also attended by Dr. Murlidhar Naik Bhukya, Director, Centre for Innovation and Incubation; Dr. Sunil Kumar; Shri B. M. Rawat; teachers, staff, and students.
