Chandigarh, 03.11.2025: A review meeting regarding the upcoming India International Trade Fair (ITFT) 2025, scheduled to be held from 14th November to 27th November 2025 at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi, was held today under the chairmanship of Sh. Nishant Kumar Yadav, Secretary Industries cum Deputy Commissioner, Chandigarh.
During the meeting, it was apprised that five departments - Tourism, CITCO, Museum, Municipal Corporation (NULM), and Jail Department - will represent the Union Territory of Chandigarh at the event. The preparations for showcasing Chandigarh’s unique initiatives, products, and services were discussed in detail.
The Deputy Commissioner emphasized the need to encourage participation of private MSMEs from Chandigarh, highlighting that such platforms provide significant exposure and business opportunities for local entrepreneurs. He further directed that all possible support be extended to facilitate their participation in the trade fair.
The DC also stressed upon ensuring that the Chandigarh Pavilion reflects the city’s progressive image and innovation-driven governance model through creative and citizen-centric exhibits.
