CHANDIGARH,24.11.25-Dr Ashima Goyal, Senior Professor of Pediatric and Preventive Dentistry at the Oral Health Sciences Centre, PGIMER, Chandigarh, has been honoured with the Lifetime Achievement Award by the Indian Society of Pediatric and Preventive Dentistry (ISPPD) at its 46th Annual Conference in Bhubaneswar, Odisha.

With over four decades of distinguished service, Dr. Goyal has made remarkable contributions to pediatric and preventive dentistry through her leadership roles as Head of the Oral Health Sciences Centre, Sub-Dean (Academics), and Head of the National Resource Centre for Oral Healthcare of Children & Elderly. She has spearheaded several WHO and ICMR initiatives, including national projects on fluorosis, early childhood caries, and a National Toothbrushing Program.

A prolific academician, she has internationally, participated in major multicentric studies and served on prominent professional committees.
