CPCC Launches City-Wide E-Waste Collection Drive to Promote Sustainable Disposal in Chandigarh
CHANDIGARH, December 30, 2025 — In a significant step toward making the "City Beautiful" more sustainable, the Chandigarh Pollution Control Committee (CPCC) today launched a comprehensive city-wide E-Waste Collection Drive. Organized in collaboration with the Global Youth Federation and M/s Karo Sambhav Pvt. Ltd., the initiative provides citizens with a door-to-door collection service for electronic waste.
The drive was officially inaugurated and the dedicated collection vehicle flagged off by Sh. Saurabh Kumar, IFS, Member Secretary, CPCC. The mobile unit will traverse various sectors and villages of Chandigarh, serving as both a collection point and a hub for spreading awareness about the environmental impacts of improper electronic disposal.
