Operation Cell of Chandigarh Police arrested Deepak Kumar @ Deepu R/o Village Batour District Panchkula Haryana and Shahil R/o Village Tasmbili Distt. Mohali Punjab from near Nitter, Sector-26 Chandigarh on 07-04-2026 and recovered 02 Desi katta and 3 live cartridges from their possession. A Case FIR No. 39 U/S 25-54-59 Arms Act has been registered in Police Station Sector-26 Chandigarh. Investigation of this case is in progress.

Chandigarh Police arrested Priyanshu @ Mukki R/o # 454 New Sky City Dappar Punjab and Sujal @ Bawa R/o # 446 Ph-1 Ramdarbar Chandigarh from Mandi Ground Ram Darbar Chandigarh on 07-04-2026 and recovered 2 spring actuated knives from their possession. A Case FIR No. 59 U/S 25-54-59 Arms Act has been registered in Police Station Sector-31 Chandigarh. Investigation of this case is in progress.

Chandigarh Police arrested Ompal R/o # 2000, Ph-2, Ramdarbar, Chandigarh from back side Tu Hi Tu Mandir, Ram Darbar Chandigarh on 07-04-2026 and recovered one knife from his possession. A case FIR No.60 U/S 25-54-59 Arms Act has been registered in Police Station Sector-31 Chandigarh. Investigation of this case is in progress.

A Case FIR No. 44 U/S 305(b), 331(4) BNS has been registered in Police Station Manimajra Chandigarh on the complaint of Jatinder Singh R/o # 6182, Duplex Mhc, ManiMajra Chandigarh against unknown person who stole away cash Rs 9500/-, Gas Cylinder, Ghee, Makhan and sweets from complainants shop no. 1069/8a, Mori Gate ManiMajra Chandigarh on night intervening 05/06-04 2026. Investigation of this case is in progress.

A Case FIR No. 31 U/S 331(4) BNS has been registered in Police Station It Park Chandigarh on the complaint of Ashish R/o # 222, Vill. Kishangarh, Chandigarh against unknown person who stole away two laptops from complainant’s house in between dt. 03-04-2026 to 05-04-2026. Investigation of this case is in progress.

Four persons arrested in the NDPS Act.

Chandigarh Police arrested Shivan Sharma @ Sabi Vill. Bagehra Buhla, P.O Birab District Hamirpur Himachal Pradesh from near T-point back side ISBT Sector-43 Chandigarh on 07-04-2026 and recovered 540 Gram Charas from his possession. A Case FIR No. 55 U/S 20 NDPS Act has been registered in Police Station Sector-36 Chandigarh. Investigation of this case is in progress.

Chandigarh Police arrested Sunil Kumar R/o Vpo Bani District Kangra (Himachal Pradesh), Rishipal R/o V.P.O Sadwan District Kangra (Himachal Pradesh) and Sandeep Rawat R/o # 280/1, Sector-41/A Chandigarh from near main gate parking fish market Sector-41 Chandigarh on 07-04-2026 and recovered 428 gram Charas and 4 gram Heroin from their possession. A Case FIR No. 48 U/S 20, 21, 29 NDPS Act has been registered in Police Station Sector-39 Chandigarh. Investigation of this case is in progress.

Cyber Crime Cheating

A Case FIR No. 53 U/S 318(4), 319(2), 336(3), 338, 340(2), 61(2) BNS has been registered in Police Station Cyber Crime Chandigarh on the complaint of Mankesh Kumar R/o # SCO No. 107/108, Sector-17/B Chandigarh against unknown person who cheated complainant for Rs 81,89,000/-. Investigation of this case is in progress.
