MAHENDERGARH, 24.04.26-The Times Higher Education (THE) Asia University Rankings 2026 have been announced, and the Central University of Haryana (CUH), Mahendragarh, has secured a position in the 501–600 band. This achievement marks a significant milestone in the university’s academic progress.
Expressing his happiness on the occasion, the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Tankeshwar Kumar, stated that securing a position in the Times Higher Education Asia Rankings is a matter of great pride for the University. He remarked that this accomplishment is the result of the collective efforts of the entire University community. He further emphasized that the University remains committed to delivering quality education, promoting high-quality research, and developing an academic environment aligned with global standards. He added that the institution aims to nurture innovation, critical thinking, and ethical values among students. The Vice-Chancellor congratulated all faculty members, researchers, students, staff, and stakeholders for their contributions and expressed confidence that the university will achieve greater heights in the future.
The Pro-Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Pawan Kumar Sharma, stated that this achievement is the outcome of continuous efforts to strengthen teaching, research, and the overall academic ecosystem of the university. He noted that the ranking highlights the university’s commitment to excellence, innovation, and global academic engagement. The recognition reflects the growing academic strength and research contributions of the university and reinforces its dedication towards achieving higher standards in higher education.
Prof. Suneel Kumar, Registrar of the University said that the University’s achievement in the Times Higher Education Asia University Rankings 2026 is the result of the coordinated and dedicated efforts of the entire university community. He noted that while the academic contributions of faculty members and researchers have played a significant role in this success, the efficient administrative support provided by the non-teaching staff has also strengthened the functioning of the institution.
Prof. Surender Singh, Director, IQAC, stated that the university’s presence in the Times Higher Education Asia University Rankings 2026 reflects its strong commitment to quality assurance and continuous improvement. He further noted that the university had earlier secured a position in the 1001–1200 global band in the Times Higher Education World University Rankings and was ranked 44th at the National level. Additionally, the university has also been placed in the 1001–1100 band in the QS World University Rankings.
