Chandigarh Police Arrested Anil R/o # 17/A, Village. Jhampur, Distt. Mohali Punjab from near Botanical Garden Khuda Lahora Chandigarh on 23-04-2026 and recovered 39.58 gram heroin and one country made pistol from his possession. A Case FIR No.11 U/S 21 Ndps Act. & 25 54-59 Arms has been registered in Police Station Crime Chandigarh. Investigation of this case is in progress.

One person arrested in Accident case

A case FIR No. 45 U/S 281, 125(A) BNS Act has been registered in Police Station Manimajra Chandigarh on the complainant of Baljinder Kumar R/o # 842, Mohalla Jattan Wala, Mani Majra Chandigarh against Driver of Truck No. HR-68-C-0737 namely Sheesh Ram R/o Village Khanan Bhoj, Tipra, Panchkula Haryana. Who hit the complainant's Activa no. CH-01-AV-5523 near Petrol Pump Dhillon Barrier on 19-04 2026, victim sustained injuries got admitted to GMCH-32 Chandigarh, During the investigation the accused was arrested and later on bailed out.

One person arrested in Public place drinking

Chandigarh Police arrested Sonu R/o # 2730/3, Sector-49/C Chandigarh from near street vending zone Sector-48 Chandigarh on 23-04-2026 while drinking and creating nuisance at public place. A Case FIR No. 33 U/S 68(1)B PP Act. & 355 BNS Act has been registered in Police Station Sector-49 Chandigarh. During the investigation, the accused later on bailed out. Investigation of this case is in progress.
