A Case FIR No 79 U/S 21 NDPS Act has been registered in Police Station Sector 34 Chandigarh. Investigation of this case is in progress.

Chandigarh Police arrested lady R/o # Sector 56 Chandigarh from near Govt. School Sector 56 Chandigarh on 03.06.2026 and recovered 11.05 gram Heroin from his possession. A Case FIR No 94 U/S 21 NDPS Act has been registered in Police Station Sector 39 Chandigarh. Investigation of this case is in progress.

One person arrested in Theft Case

A Case FIR No 95 U/S 303(2), 317(2) BNS has been registered in Police Station Sector 39 Chandigarh on the complaint of Kuldeep Singh R/o # 456 Sector 41 Chandigarh Ramdhar R/o # Village Kumda Sector 68 Mohali Punjab who stole away contractors of street lights from Sector 37/41 light point on 03.06.2026. Accused caught ran handed. Investigation of this case is in progress.

One person arrested in Arms Act

Chandigarh Police arrested Aftab Ali R/o # 536 Sector 15 Panchkula Haryana from near Cremation Ground Phase 1 Industrial Area Chandigarh on 03.06.2026 and recovered one kamanidar knife from his possession. A Case FIR No 57 U/S 25-54-59 Arms Act has been registered in Police Station Industrial Area Chandigarh. Investigation of this case is in progress.

Action against Excise Act

Chandigarh Police arrested Mukesh R/o # 719/20 BDC Sector 26 Chandigarh from near KB Transport TPT Area Sector 26 Chandigarh and recovered 45 quarters from his possession. A Case FIR No 71 U/S 61-1-14 Excise Act has been registered in Police Station Sector 26 Chandigarh. Later on the accused bailed out. Investigation of this case is in progress.

A Case FIR No. 79 U/S 318(4), 319(2), & 61(2) BNS has been registered in Police Station Cyber Crime Sector-17 Chandigarh on the complaint of lady R/o #Mori gate Manimajra, Chandigarh against unknown person who cheated complainant for Rs 1,20,000/-regarding fraud by impersonating a relative.
