A Case FIR No 79 U/S 25 Arms Act has been registered in Police Station Sector 26 Chandigarh. Investigation of this case is in progress.

One arrested in NDPS Act

Chandigarh Police arrested Anuj Kumar R/o # 14 Room no 30 Village Buterla, Sector 41 Chandigarh Chandigarh from near bus stop Sector 38 Chandigarh on 19.06.2026 and recovered 15.18 Gram Chitta and 15.96 Gram Ice from his possession. A Case FIR No 101 U/S 21,22 NDPS Act has been registered in Police Station Sector 39 Chandigarh. Investigation of this case is in progress.

One arrested in Theft Case

A Case FIR No 55 U/S 305 BNS, 317(2) BNS has been registered in Police Station IT Park Chandigarh on the complaint of Daya Nanad Sharma R/o # 1012 Village Kishangarh Chandigarh against unknown person who stole away complainant mobile phone from shop no 521 kishangarh Chandigarh on 3.06.2026 and transferred Rs. 40750/- through online payment. During the investigation the accused Suraj R/o # 176 Tribune Colony Village Kansal mohali Punjab was arrested. Investigation of this case is in progress.

Cyber Crime Cheating

A Case FIR No. 85 U/S 318(4), 319(2), 340(2), 61(2) BNS has been registered in Police Station Cyber Crime Sector-17 Chandigarh on the complaint of one lady R/o # Sector 48 Chandigarh against unknown person who cheated complainant for Rs. 4,51,940/- through malicious APK file. Investigation of this case is in progress.

A Case FIR No 78 U/S 115(2), 126(2), 351(3), 61(2) BNS has been registered in Police Station Sector 26 Chandigarh on the complaint of Juvenile R/o # Sector 26 Chandigarh against Bhola and others they attacked on complainant and beaten him near Taj Hotel phase 2 bdc Sector 26 Chandigarh on 15.06.2026. Victim sustained injuries got admitted to GH-16 Chandigarh. Investigation of this case is in progress.
