In his message, the Governor said that Sant Kabir was one of India's greatest saint-poets and social reformers whose timeless teachings continue to inspire humanity towards truth, equality, compassion and universal brotherhood.
He said that Kabir fearlessly challenged social discrimination, caste-based divisions, religious intolerance and blind faith, advocating instead a society founded on justice, harmony and mutual respect.
Prof Ghosh said, "Kabir's message transcends the boundaries of caste, creed and religion. His teachings remind us that humanity is the highest religion and that every individual deserves equal dignity and respect. His life continues to guide us in building a society that is inclusive, compassionate and free from discrimination."
The Governor further said, "Kabir's emphasis on rational thinking, self-realisation, moral values and inner purity inspires us to rise above prejudice and work collectively for the welfare of society."
Prof. Ghosh urged the people, especially the younger generation, to imbibe Kabir's ideals of simplicity, honesty, tolerance and social responsibility. He said that these values are essential for strengthening the nation's social fabric and preserving its rich tradition of unity in diversity.
Expressing confidence in the people of Haryana, the Governor said that by following the ideals of Sant Kabir, citizens can contribute towards creating a progressive, harmonious and equitable society where every individual enjoys equal opportunities and lives with dignity.
