ONE ARRESTED UNDER NDPS ACT
A case FIR No. 67 u/s 21 NDPS Act has been registered at Police Station Industrial Area on the complaint of SI Jile Singh No. 1633/CHG against Mukesh Kumar @ Chikna S/o Nathu Ram, R/o #1433/28, Sector-29/B, Chandigarh, who was apprehended near the Sub Office of the R&D Division, Sector-29, Chandigarh, on 24.07.2026 at about 08:30 PM. During the search, 10.4 grams of heroin was recovered from his possession. The accused has been arrested.
ONE ARRESTED IN CHEATING
A case FIR No. 97 u/s 318(4), 336(3), 338, 340(2), 61(2) BNS has been registered at Police Station Sector-34 on the complaint of Smt. Sattampillai G S/o Govindasamy, R/o #69, East Street, Silumbur (South), Ariyalur, Tamil Nadu against C. A. Groups, who allegedly cheated the complainant of ₹39,95,000/- on the pretext of arranging a visa. Later, the accused Parul Singh was
arrested. Investigation of the case is in progress.
THEFT
A case FIR No. 95 u/s 306 BNS has been registered at Police Station Sector-26 on the complaint of Smt. Ravinder Kaur W/o Mohd. Abid, R/o #1712, Sector-59, Phase-5, Mohali (PB) against Vicky, who allegedly stole ₹1,28,220/- in cash from the complainant's house located on the 2nd floor, First & Second Floor, Sector-27, Chandigarh, on 24.07.2026. Investigation of the case is in progress.
A case FIR No. 114 u/s 305(A), 331(4) BNS has been registered at Police Station Sector-39 on the complaint of Smt. Ramdeep W/o Dharminder Singh, R/o Village Lahbra, District Ropar (Punjab) against an unknown person who allegedly stole the complainant's mobile phone from the complainant's office, SCO No. 94, Sector-40/C, Chandigarh, on the night intervening 07/08.07.2026. Investigation of the case is in progress.

A case FIR No. 102 u/s 108, 3(5) BNS has been registered at Police Station Mauli Jagran on the complaint of Sh. Kapil S/o Nanu Ram @ Ram Chander, R/o #2448, Mauli Complex, Chandigarh against Sunny, who allegedly subjected the complainant's brother Namely Monu (33 years) to culpable hurt on 22.07.2026 at about 04:00 PM. Investigation of the case is in progress.
QUARREL
A case FIR No. 103 u/s 115(2), 126(2), 351(3) BNS has been registered at Police Station Mauli Jagran on the complaint of Sh. Sudhir Kumar S/o Sonu Mehak Singh, R/o #58 Raipur Kalan, Chandigarh against Suraj, who allegedly attacked the complainant with a bat near the open ground, Raipur Kalan, Chandigarh, on 19.07.2026 at about 06:00 PM.
