Chandigarh, August 21 — Haryana's Energy, Transport and Labour Minister Sh. Anil Vij mocked Congress leader Rahul Gandhi for staging a sit-in over an issue nearly a month old, saying, "Rahul Gandhi has developed a habit of appearing in print and being stuck to screens; he wants to be printed in newspapers every day and glued to the TV, so instead of doing things straightforwardly he turns them into spectacle and theatrics."
Speaking to media persons today, Vij said that the matter Rahul Gandhi is protesting about has already been referred by the honorable Supreme Court to a five-member high-level probe team. The chair of that team is also a former Supreme Court judge, and Congress should place its trust in them. In any case, the law provides that if the police do not register an FIR, you can file a case in court.
Taking a swipe at Congress, Energy Minister Anil Vij said that Congress wants to spread anarchy in India and that their appetite was not satisfied by the Sikh riots and the partition; during the time of partition they caused the deaths of hundreds of thousands, and their conscience was not at peace, so now they want to foment disorder — to have people take to the streets, fight in different places.
