Chandigarh Police arrested Kumar Pal R/o # 3463 Maloya Colony Chandigarh , Anil Kumar R/o # 4358 Maloya Colony, Chandigarh, Vicky R/o # 82 Dairy Complex Maloya, Chandigarh and Vinod Kumar R/o # 2933 Sector-56, Chandigarh. They all apprehended from near park maloya colony, Chandigarh on 23-08-2026. while playing dara satta and recovered cash Rs. 11,000/- from their possession. A case FIR No. 101 U/S 13/A-3-67 Gambling Act. has been registered in Police Station Maloya Chandigarh. During the investigation accused persons later on bailed out. Investigation of this case is in progress

Chandigarh Police arrested Sham Bahadur R/o # 459 NIC Manimajra Chandigarh from back side booth no. 20 Indra Colony Mani Majra, Chandigarh on 23-08-2026 while playing satta and recovered cash Rs 3250/- from his possession. A case FIR No.75 U/S 13/A-3-67 Gambling Act has been registered in Police Station It Park Chandigarh. During the investigation, the accused person was later on bailed out. Investigation of this case is in progress.

Theft case

A case FIR No. 144 U/S 305 BNS & Added 317(2) BNS has been registered in Police Station Sector 36 Chandigarh on the complaint of Mohit Gupta R/o #109, Tagore Nagar, Bathinda, Punjab against unknown person who stole away complainant mobile phone from room no.502 kishan bhawan sector-35, Chandigarh on the night intervening 22/21-08-2026. During the investigation accused person Tarun Sharma R/o # 32 new model town, gali no. 02, kapurthala distt. Jalandhar Punjab, Investigation of this case is in progress.

Accident Case

A case FIR No. 136 U/S 281, 125(A), 125(B) BNS has been registered in Police Station Sector 39 Chandigarh on the complaint of Ankit R/o # 3037, Sector-37/D, Chandigarh against Ravinder Singh R/o Gold Homes, Kharar Mohali Punjab driver of fortuner car no. HP-12-Q-8585 who hit complainant bike no. CH-01-DE-2713 from near Parjapati Bhawan sector-38, Chandigarh on 22-08-2026 complainants got injured and admitted in PGI Chandigarh. Investigation of this case is in progress
