Chandigarh, 16.09.26-: A meaningful and engaging conference on “Leadership, Drugs & Law Enforcement” was successfully organised at the Department of Police Administration, Panjab University, Chandigarh, under the chairmanship of Dr. Kuldeep Singh, Chairperson, Department of Police Administration, with the National Human Rights & Anti-Corruption Force (NHRACF), Chandigarh, made a humble contribution as Co-Organiser. The conference brought together distinguished speakers, police professionals, students and NCC cadets to deliberate upon leadership, public administration, drug abuse and the role of law-enforcement agencies in building a safer and more responsible society.
The proceedings were conducted and coordinated by Sh. Siddharth Chattopadhyaya, IPS (Retd.), former DGP, Punjab, whose valuable guidance and experience added great significance to the programme. Lt Gen Tejinder Singh Shergill made a presentation on Leadership and Youth, which was very well received by the students
Sh. Kamaljit Singh Panchhi, President, NHRACF Chandigarh; Sh. Anil Vohra, Chairman; Sh. Rajan Mahajan; Sh. Ravinder Nath; Sh. N.K. Jhigan; and Sh. Amanpreet Virk were also present on the occasion. Speaking at the conference, Sh. Kamaljit Singh Panchhi highlighted the serious social and personal consequences of drug abuse. He appealed to the students to stay away from drugs and encouraged them to spread awareness among their fellow students and in the wider community about the harmful effects of drug abuse.
