Chandigarh, 1 October: The Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) of Mehr Chand Mahajan DAV College for Women organised its Annual Meet, bringing parents and teachers together to discuss the academic and overall development of students.
The programme commenced with the ceremonial lamp lighting, followed by a presentation highlighting glimpses from previous PTA meets. Students of the Department of Music enthralled the gathering with their melodious performances. The meeting witnessed enthusiastic participation from parents across diverse disciplines. As an annual feature of the college, the PTA meeting serves as a vital platform to deliberate on matters of common concern, while incorporating valuable parental feedback into institutional policies. An interactive session with parents provided an open platform for them to share their concerns and suggestions. During the session, parents wholeheartedly appreciated the college’s consistent efforts to ensure the holistic development of students.

Addressing the gathering, Officiating Principal Ms. Neena Sharma highlighted the facilities and diverse platforms provided by the college for students’ growth. She also spoke about the challenges faced by youth in contemporary times and emphasised the importance of parents and teachers working as a cohesive team towards the common goal of ensuring the holistic development and well-being of every student.
