Chandigarh, 30.10.24- : The Department of Public Administration of Post Graduate Government College, Sector-46 Chandigarh observed Vigilance Awareness Week from October 28 to November 3, 2024, with the theme "Culture of Integrity for Nation's Prosperity". The event aimed to promote integrity, transparency, and accountability among students, faculty, and staff.

The week-long celebrations began with principal, Professor J. K. Sehgal flagging off a rally in the presence of Dean, Mrs. Anuradha Mittal and Vice Principal, Professor Sneh Harshinder Sharma. The students and staff of the college were administered a pledge against corruption and unethical practices in professional and personal life on 28th Oct 2024 . Students created posters highlighting the significance of integrity and transparency in governance and public administration. Four teams tried their luck in the event Spin the wheel event.

Speaking on the occasion, Principal Sehgal said that this year's theme, 'Culture of Integrity for Nation's Prosperity,' resonates deeply, as we recognize that a culture of integrity is the foundation upon which a prosperous nation is built.
He emphasised that When we uphold integrity, we create an environment where transparency, accountability, and fairness thrive.It is our collective responsibility to combat corruption in all its forms, ensuring that our actions align with the highest standards of ethics, he added. The event was organised by Dr. Meenakshi Madaan, Head of Department of Public Administration.
