New Delhi-Date 29.10.2023-The three days Kavi Sammelan organized by Delhi Tourism at Satyagraha Mandap, Gandhi Darshan, Near Rajghat, Delhi concluded today i.e. on 29^th October, 2023 which was inaugurated by Shri Saurabh Bhardwaj, Hon'ble Tourism Minister, Government of Delhi on 27^th October, 2023. On this occasion, he said that the fairs and festivals organized by Delhi Tourism will prove to be a milestone in preserving our culture.

This Sammelan was organized in collaboration with the Department of Arts, Culture and Languages, Government of Delhi.

The history of poems and ghazals is centuries old. Holding such Sammelan is an initiative to introduce today's young generation with glorious Indian culture and the contribution of literature to preserve it.

On the first day of the Kavi Sammelan (27^th October, 2023), Hindi poetry recitation was staged by famous Hindi speaking poets on behalf of Hindi Academy. On the second day (28^th October, 2023), a Mushaira was organized by Urdu speaking poets on behalf of Urdu Academy and on the third day (29^th October, 2023), Kavi Darbar was organized by Punjabi poets on behalf of Punjabi Academy, listening to which the visitors present there, were mesmerized.
