CHANDIGARH.25.04.2025-The second day of the 3rd National Conference on Hospital Administration, HART 2025, was truly engaging. Organized by the Department of Hospital Administration, this three-day event drew over 500 delegates from across the country. It was a vibrant gathering where ideas flowed freely, and discussions sparked new insights. This year's conference felt particularly impactful. It brought pressing issues in healthcare leadership and innovation to the forefront, creating a sense of community among dedicated professionals.
One key session, "Hospital Administration: Key Driver of Healthcare Excellence," was moderated by Dr. Ranjana Singh, Addl. Prof., Dept. of Hospital Administration, PGIMER. It featured a dynamic panel of experts discussing the past and future of hospital administration. Prof. Sidhartha Satpathy from AIIMS, New Delhi shared exciting insights about the field’s growth. Prof. Preethi John from UCL London, UK stressed the importance of equipping administrators with the necessary skills for future challenges.
Next was the session "Penny Wise, Pound Wise," moderated by Dr. Navin Pandey, Addl. Prof, Dept. of Hospital Administration, PGIMER. This discussion shed light on how financial management impacts healthcare outcomes. Delegates left with practical knowledge from Prof. Anupam Mahajan from AIMS Mohali reflecting the conference's goal of connecting theory to real-world applications. The session was chaired by Dr. Vikas Bhatia, Executive Director, AIIMS Bibinagar, Telangana.
