New Delhi :Dated : 25.12.2023-The four-days Western Music Carnival organized by Delhi Tourism and Transport Development Corporation at Kalagram, Said Ul Ajaib, near Saket Metro station concluded today i.e. 25 December 2023 with a musical performance by famous band Parikarma & Friends.
Music has an important role in the lives of common people and Western music also has its own significance. Present education system prevailing in India is inspired by the western education system and has increased the inclination of Indian youth towards the western culture resulting it's deep impact on the minds of youngster. Bollywood (film/music) industry based on Western music is also one of the reasons for increasing inclination of it amongst the Indian youth.
Delhi Tourism organizes many cultural fairs and festivals from time to time with the aim of promoting tourism in Delhi.
During this carnival, famous bands Delhi Indie Project, Suryansh Project and Antriksh performed on 22nd, 23rd December and 24th December respectively and thrilled the visitors with their captivating performances.
The main attraction of the last day of the carnival was the famous Parikrama and Friends Band. Their performance mesmerized everyone present there. During the carnival, various fun activities were also organized which were greatly appreciated by the audience. Buggy, Santa Claus, Mickey Mouse, bumping-jumping and other swings for children were amongst the other attractions of the event. Besides above, the visitors also enjoyed various food delicacies and craft available at the stalls.
The carnival concluded with the thanks note of Chief Manager of Delhi Tourism Ms. Sunita Kumari Kaushik.
Delhi Tourism is going to organize comedy nights very soon! The carnival ended with a promise to meet soon.
