Chandigarh Police arrested Harash @ Chandi R/o # 2616 Sector 52, Chandigarh age-20 years and recovered 21.87 grams heroin, from his possession near entry gate back side ISBT-43 Chandigarh on 18.09.2024. A case FIR No. 194 U/S 21 NDPS Act has been registered in PS- 36, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.
Two arrested for consuming liquor at public place
Chandigarh Police arrested Sourav R/o # 6467 Sector 56 Chandigarh (age-24 years) and Kuljeet Singh R/o # 972 Sector 20/B Chandigarh while they were consuming liquor and created nuisance from near Jama Masjid Sector 20 Chandigarh on 18.09.2024. A case FIR No.76, U/S 68-1(B) Punjab Police Act has been registered in PS-19, Chandigarh. later on both accused are bailed out. Investigation of the case is in progress.

A Case FIR No 165 U/S 281,106(1) BNS has been registered in Police Station Sector 17 Chandigarh on the complaint of a lady R/o # 127 small flats Dhanas Chandigarh against unknown vehicle sped away after hit to complainant father near aroma light point on 13.09.2024. Complainant father got injured and admitted in PGI Chandigarh. During treatment complainant father passed away on 18.09.2024. Investigation of this case is in progress.

A Case FIR No 148 U/S 420,467,468,471, 120(B) IPC has been registered in Police Station Sector-39 Chandigarh on the complaint of Rakesh Kumar R/o # Village Raipur kalan SAS Nagar Mohali Punjab against Bhagat Singh and others R/o SCO No. 26 1ST floor Sector 41 Chandigarh. They cheated with complainant Rs. 20,50,000/- regarding visa. During investigation accused person arrested. Investigation of this case is in progress.

A Case FIR No. 76 U/S 115(2), 118(1), 126(1), 351(3) BNS has been registered in Police Station- Maloya Chandigarh on the complaint of Mohit @ Gaurav R/o # 407, DMC, Chandigarh against Prem @ Ganja R/o # DMC Chandigarh who attack on complainant with knife in park near his house, Chandigarh on 16-09-2024. Complainant got injured and admitted in GH-16 Chandigarh. Investigation of this case is in progress.
