MAHENDERGARH, 21.11.24-The Department of Law, Central University of Haryana (CUH), mahendergarh organised a workshop on Legal Research and its applications in the legal profession. This initiative, supported by leading legal search database Manupatra and Pandit Deen Dayal Updhaya Central Library, aimed to equip students and faculty with cutting-edge research skills.

Dr. Pradeep Singh, Dean and Head of the Department of Law, inaugurated the workshop, sharing insights on the evolution of legal research from manual searches in law journals to leveraging technology and artificial intelligence. He emphasized the need for adaptability in the face of emerging challenges. Dr.Singh said that this workshop demonstrated Central University of Haryana commitment to fostering excellence in legal education under the sagacious leadership of Prof. Tankeshwar Kumar, Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor. By bridging
the gap between theory and practice, the Department of Law prepares
students for success in the rapidly changing legal landscape.
Sh. Aprit Jain from Manupatra delivered an hour-long presentation on utilizing the Manupatra portal for academic and professional legal research. Dr. Naresh Kumar, Assistant Librarian, showcased the library's diverse e-resources. Students from LL.B and LL.M programs attended, along with faculty members Shree Rakesh Meena, Dr. Jyotsna, Abhishek Rao, and Mrs. Vikash.
