Ludhiana 24 November 2024-Mr. Pranav Vashisht, a Process Improvement Specialist from Idaho Milk Products, USA, delivered a lecture on "Sustainability Practices in the U.S. Dairy Industry" at the College of Dairy and Food Science Technology, Guru Angad Dev Veterinary and Animal Sciences University, Ludhiana.

Mr. Vashisht shared his expertise on sustainable dairy processing, highlighting the importance of conserving water and energy, reducing waste, and applying sustainability across the entire dairy value chain i.e., from farm to consumer. He also inspired students pursuing higher education in the advanced institutes.

Dr. P.K. Singh highlighted the importance of sustainability in the dairy sector, both in India and globally. He addressed the challenges and opportunities in Punjab's dairy industry, emphasizing the need for innovation.

Dr. S.K. Uppal, Dean of the College highlighted the importance of sustainability in the dairy industry, stressing that it is crucial for its long-term survival.
