Chandigarh,Dated 13.03.2025-State Bank of India donated Rs 29,00,362/- for Oncology Day Care Centre at Command Hospital, Chandimandir, a step towards strengthening healthcare facilities for Armed Forces personnel. To mark this occasion, Lt. Gen. Manoj Kumar Katiyar, PVSM, AVSM, General Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Western Command, interacted with Sh. Krishan Sharma, Chief General Manager, State Bank of India Chandigarh Circle, and Major General Arvind Kapoor, Circle Defence Banking Advisor at Chandimandir. This initiative reflects Bank’s commitment to support the health and well-being of Armed Forces personnel and their families.

Following the interaction, a cheque for ₹29,00,362/- was formally presented by Sh. Krishan Sharma, Chief General Manager, State Bank of India Chandigarh Circle to Lt. Gen. Matheu Jacob, Commandant, Command Hospital Chandimandir Cantt. in the presence of Shri Sujit Kumar, General Manager LHO Chandigarh, Shri Teekam Singh Gehlot, DGM(B&O) Administrative Office, Panchkula, Shri Rishi Kumar, Regional Manager, RBO Panchkula, Ms Avneet Kaur, Chief Manager SBI Chandimandir Branch and other dignitaries from both the armed forces and SBI.
