SHIMLA-12^th December, 2024 -Shri Ram Seva Sankalp Foundation, Himachal Pradesh organized a scholarship distribution programme at the historic Gaiety Theatre in Shimla today. Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla was present as a Chief Guest and presented commendation certificates and scholarships to meritorious students of 8^th to 12^th standard of different schools.

Congratulating the students the Governor said that the Foundation has taken a good initiative, which would not only boost the morale of the students but also encourage them to achieve greater heights in academics.

Shri Shukla said that Education is the cornerstone of progress which unlocks endless possibilities and shapes the future of individuals, and nations. Through initiatives like these, Shriram Seva Sankalp Foundation was ensuring that the doors to knowledge and success remain open to all. He expressed contentment that the Foundation, which started in 2015, has so far provided more than 10 thousand scholarships and today, the foundation was providing about 3000 scholarships in Himachal as well as Punjab and Jammu & Kashmir. He also appreciated the contribution of the foundation for social activities.

“Scholarships being awarded today will not only ease the financial burden on many deserving students but will also serve as a source of motivation. Each one of you who receives this scholarship is being entrusted with the opportunity to excel in your studies and to contribute meaningfully to society. It is not just a financial support but, recognition of your potential, your hard work, and your dedication to pursuing your dreams”, said Shukla.

Earlier, Nilesh Odedara, Joint Managing Director, Shriram Seva Sankalp Foundation welcomed the Governor and detailed about various activities of the Foundation.
