Chandigarh,15.01.25- : The NSS unit of Post Graduate Government College, Sector 46, Chandigarh, organised a 7 Day Camp on the theme “Youth for My Bharat and Youth for Digital Literacy” from 9th to 15th January 2025. The camp was organized to develop the students' personality and character through hands-on learning experience and voluntary community service.

The camp started with an auspicious opening ceremony in the benign presence of the Principal of the college Prof. J.K. Sehgal and Vice Principal Prof. Sneh Harshinder Sharma. Principal Prof. Sehgal congratulated the NSS volunteers for being a part of this brilliant opportunity. He encouraged the volunteers to make the most of these 7 days of learning experience and use this opportunity to enhance their management and organizational skills.

Myriad activities were organised over the seven days ranging from field activities like fitness sessions, cleanliness drives and painting tree trunks with lime water, a visit to the adopted village of Ram Darbar and lectures delivered by experts from various fields.

The Keynote speaker of the last day was Dr. Nemi Chand, State Liaison Officer NSS, Chandigarh. He congratulated the volunteers on the successful completion of the camp and hoped it was an enriching experience for each of them. The camp ended with a lively cultural performance by the volunteers. Prof. Sehgal congratulated the volunteers and POs for successfully conducting the camp. The camp was organised by the Program Officers Dr. Sidharath Kumar, Ms. Pooja Gupta, Dr. Amanpreet Kaur and Dr. Kulvinder Singh.
