*CM approves Rs. 239 crore for water and road projects*
Chandigarh, February 9 – Haryana Chief Minister, Sh. Nayab Singh Saini has given administrative approval of over Rs. 239.35 crore for various water and road projects. These projects include roadworks in Naraingarh,Sadhaura, and Adampur constituencies, water works improvements in Patuwas village in Charkhi Dadri district, construction of a Western Bypass from Kaithal Road to Munak Road in Ghogripur Village in Karnal, and the development of the Panipat-Safidon-Jind road.
Sharing information in this regard an official spokesperson said that Chief Minister, Sh. Nayab Singh Saini has approved an amount of Rs. 903.18 lakh (estimated cost) under the SCSP scheme for the construction of 12 roads in Sadhaura in Yamunanagar district and Naraingarh in Ambala district. Besides this, Rs 3736.30 lakh (revised cost) has been approved for building a Western Bypass from Kaithal Road to Munak Road in Ghogripur covering 6.180 km to 11.100 km. Apart from this, administrative approval has been given for Rs 184.44 crore for making 4 lanes from Panipat to Safidon and widening 10 meters from Safidon to Jind on Panipat-Safidon-Jind road (SH-14).
The Chief Minister has also approved 405.88 lakh for the renovation of water works and laying of DI pipeline in Patuwas village of Charkhi Dadri district under the ‘Gramin Jal Aapurti Samvardhan Karyakram’ (Rural Water Supply Augmentation Programme). This includes strengthening a water storage tank, constructing three filter beds, building a clear water tank, repairing existing water supply, and internal distribution system.
The spokesperson further said that Adampur of Hisar constituency, Rs. 445.65 lakh (estimated cost) has been approved for the repair and improvement of four roads. This includes Rs. 92.11 lakh for special repairs from Chuli Khurd to Mehrana up to the state border, Rs.241.95 lakh for strengthening the road from Mohabbatpur to Shivalik Temple, Rs. 86.94 lakh for repairing the road from Chuli Khurd to Biran up to the state border, and Rs. 24.65 lakh for repairing the sub-health center road in Dhani Mohabatpur.

The Chief Minister has also approved the establishment of cyber crime police stations in Eastern Gohana for Sonipat Commissionerate and Bahadurgarh for Jhajjar Commissionerate. The sanctioned manpower of these cyber crime team will include four male and one female inspector, five male and one female sub-inspector, three male and one female assistant sub-inspector, eight male and two female head constables, ten male and five female constables, a system analyst, a data analyst, two cooks, one W/C, and one sweeper. This will put an additional financial burden of Rs 8,89,50,906 per year on the state exchequer for the salary of the proposed posts.

The Chief Minister said that Arvind Kejriwal had promised to transform Delhi’s roads into those resembling Paris, but when he visited different parts of the city during the election campaign, he found nothing but long traffic jams and broken roads. Sh. Nayab Singh Saini said that Kejriwal had claimed he would turn children belonging to poor families into doctors and engineers, but instead, he focused on opening liquor shops across the city. He said that now, under the leadership of Prime Minister, Sh. The Yamuna Riverfront will be beautified to such an extent that people will prefer visiting it over Kartavya Path and India Gate. He said that Prime Minister, Sh. Narendra Modi has committed to cleaning and beautifying the Yamuna River, and extensive work will be carried out at a fast pace to eliminate pollution.

*144 villages identified for Mahagram Yojana: Ranbir Gangwa*
Chandigarh, February 9 – Haryana Public Health Engineering and Public Works Minister, Sh. Ranbir Gangwa said that 144 villages in the state have been identified under the Mahagram Yojana. Under this Yojana, these villages will be provided with drinking water and sewage facilities similar to those in cities.
Sh.Gangwa said this while speaking in a felicitation ceremony organised in Arya Nagar Village in Hisar today. During this, he did not only heard public grievances but also gave directions to the concerned officers for resolutions.
The minister emphasised that the present government works with a clear vision and on their resolutions. Referring to Prime Minister Sh. Narendra Modi’s initiative, he said that the government is committed to ensuring clean drinking water in every household through Har Ghar Nal se Jal. He also shared that a Rs.60 crore estimate has been submitted for a water and sewage project in Arya Nagar village. Efforts are underway to include Arya Nagar in the Mahagram Yojana.
