MAHENDERGARH, 19.02.25-Two-day event on the occasion of National Science Day at CUH from 27th Central University of Haryana (CUH), Mahendergarh, is set to host special events on February 27 and 28, 2025, to celebrate National Science Day. The theme for this year’s event is 'Empowering Indian Youth for Global Leadership in Science and Innovation for Viksit Bharat'. The inauguration session will be graced by Vice Chancellor of CUH, Prof. Tankeshwar Kumar.
Prof. Tankeshwar Kumar emphasized that the National Science Day celebrations would focus on Indian technology and Viksit Bharat. On February 27, the University will organize an exhibition showcasing remarkable works, research, and innovations by various departments of CUH, as well as schools and colleges. The exhibition will include poster-making, working models, best-out-of-waste projects, speeches, painting, and quiz competitions. On February 28, there will be a special expert lecture, with Prof. Amitava Sen Gupta, former scientist at CSIR-NPL, New Delhi, as the Guest of Honour.
The organizing committee, led by Prof. A.K. Yadav and Prof. Vinod Kumar, informed that the event series will begin with the Science Exhibition, where CUH’s departments and local educational institutions will showcase their notable contributions. In addition, National Science Centre, New Delhi, will conduct a science show during the event. Last date of Free online registration is 21 February, 2025.
