CHANDIGARH, 12.04.25-Gurukul Global School joyfully celebrated the festival of Baisakhi with a vibrant and spiritually uplifting Special Assembly that beautifully reflected the essence of tradition and festivity.
To mark the occasion, the Assembly commenced with the soulful chanting of the Gayatri Mantra and a heartfelt English Prayer, setting a calm and positive tone. This was followed by a melodious Bhajan, creating an atmosphere of devotion and serenity.
Building on this meaningful start, the students of Class VIII confidently delivered the 'Thought of the Day', enriched the audience’s vocabulary with the 'Word of the 
Day', and shared the latest 'News Headlines'—keeping the gathering reflective, well-informed, and actively engaged.
As the programme continued, a Poem on 'Baisakhi' capturing the joy and spirit of the festival was presented, while a well-prepared PowerPoint Presentation highlighting the festival’s cultural, historical, and agricultural significance captivated the audience. The celebration continued with a cheerful group song and a graceful solo dance, all showcasing the talents and enthusiasm of the Globalites .
The assembly concluded with the School Song and the National Anthem, leaving everyone's hearts brimming with a sense of pride, unity, and festive spirit.
