CHANDIGARH, 25.04.25-Earth is believed to be the only habitable planet which has an abundance of air, water, plants, animals and human beings. It is, however, very unfortunate that the condition of earth is fast deteriorating due to unfriendly activities practiced by humans. To reinstate our responsibilities toward mother Earth, an array of interesting and engaging activities/competitions were held for different grades. Students actively participated in- Designing environmental badges with thought-provoking messages, Dialogue writing between marine life and non -renewable resources viz plastics, chemicals etc., Poster Making Competition on ‘Say No to Plastic/Use of the three R’s ’, Bookmark Making Competition, Pledge Writing, Quiz on Earth Day. The main aim behind conducting these activities is to bring awareness and sensitization among young minds to save the environment.

On the occasion, School Director Ms. Lalita Prakash sensitized students regarding their duty towards environment. The school keeps organizing such events as a step towards green earth and ensures all the students are globally responsible of their duties towards mother earth and save resources for better future.

The Earth Day celebration was a resounding success, inspiring students to take action and become environmental heroes. By promoting eco-awareness and sustainability, we can work together to protect our planet for future generations.
